Totally different vibe to the 06 campaign. The qualifying results did a good job in masking the problems with Pim's style which clearly does not fit well with the players he has.

Thats reflected off the field, it doesnt matter how many american celebrities you pose and dance with, how big all your smiles are in a group photo or how many times you use the words "WE ARE UNITED".
Unity shines through in everything you do, it shouldnt be a struggle. When I think of the 2010 campaign I keep thinking "frustration" when the f@@k are they going to click!
Pim cant save this campaign anymore, its really up to the players to dig deep. One thing I have learned over the years never count out an Australian team in any sport ever.

In summing up, it's Verbeek, it's John Travolta, it's Asia, it's Unity, it's the vibe, and, uh ... No, that's it. It's the vibe.

TBH the most fucked up selection in any sport may have played a part...
I think he had hyped up the roos to even himself, thinking we could beat them with a second string team
