I remember watching the German national team on TV while I was in Germany last year in June watching them tear apart the UAE in a friendly which ended 7 - 2 in Germany's favour.

I remember turning my father and uncle and saying 1)that I have never seen any team play 4 vs 4 when transitioning from defence to attack and how effective it was 2)the number of top quality fringe players Germany have considering that the team on the field had few first choice German players on it 3) UAE would have been a team Australia would have struggled to defeat & 4) I hope we don't player Germany in the group stage (or at any stage) of the World Cup!....... well we all know that happened......:-({|=

The way that Germany played the 4 vs 4 when transitioning from defence to attack applying instant pressure on the back 4 was beautiful to watch then in June last year as it was on Monday morning and is the future of football. If Germany keeps playing like that they'll tear most teams apart and win the World Cup

If only Aus could develope young players like that......:-k
