We played Germany with only one A-League player. NZ are virtually the Phoenix in disguise plus a few others. If a nation primarily consisting of a semi-decent A-League team can last out with Slovakia, beat Serbia and worry our Euro players while our A-League players can barely beat Asian minnows then shouldn't the question mark be over Verbeek instead?
