Bres behind Kewell in the middle- he actually can score goals. Chippers into left midield - he caN ACTUALLY SCORE GOALS. And - idiots - he's still faster than most of the team. Did no-one see US game when he was attacking? Emmo at right midfeild. Which means - okay - Carney has to come in. But at least he can keep the ball.

Emerton showed against Germany how important he is attacking on the right and getting crosses in (where Kennedy should be a chance).

Wilky is wasted as a RB, he should be in the middle (with Jedinak). Culina should be at RB.

Why should Bresciano play? He's not fit, he hasn't played in months, he has no club, he is the equal slowest player in the 23, his dead ball kicks are rubbish. He should not even be there. If you want an attacking player on the left, then Vidosic should be there.

And Carney cannot defend. Chippers will stay at LB, forget about the Germany game, Chippers was exposed by Culina's failure to do his job and track Lahm and Muller.

I would play Harry in the last 60 minutes.

In any case, we should not go all out attack, as we will get picked off by Ghana's pacy counter-attacks. A 1-0 win should be the aim.

Absolute rubbish suggestion. The only reason Carney would get a start is if we need goals and Pim moves me further up the pitch in the place of waste of space garcia or broke back Bresc.

i reckon pim should have 4-2-3-1 with jesus up front and richard garcia in behind and bresciano and kewell on the wings then wilkshire and culina defensive mids then the back four emerton moore neil and chipperfeild then bring on vidosic off the bench to replace garcia and then bring on rhys williams for that shitc*nt moore then holman on in striker for jesus so thats what i reckon

I think the manager will go back to the 4-2-3-1 system and use Kennedy up front with Kewell in behind and Emmo and Bresciano on the wings. Culina and Valeri holding with Wilkshire, Moore, Lucas, Chippers back 4.

Would be good to see Kewell and "Jesus" play next game. We need to get a striker in there, Kewell should not be expected to fill that role. He should fill Cahill's role in the team...well, the roll Cahill has when he isn't being played as a striker...

in the last hour kewell tore into the cockerill's article from yesterday which said kewell's career has been on the way down for many years, kewell even publically challenged cockerill but the reporter just happened to be absent from the socceroos training camp. hopefully harry can also show it on the pitch come saturday.

here's hoping no one accidentally 'injures' him in training before the big game.

Surely he's a starter? Whether or not he has the fitness to last 90 mins is another thing.

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Chippers: It's Harry Time?
SOCCEROO veteran Scott Chipperfield says it is time for Harry Kewell to make his return to the Australian line-up for Saturday's must win SA2010 clash against Ghana in Rustenberg.

Have your say.
