Hmm not bad, not bad... as a manager he's certainly experienced and his relatively recent experience in the J-League and some Middle Eastern leagues, may mean he's more familiar with Asian football, which would be handy for us. Though tbh on the downside, I notice on his CV he hasn't really had 'substantive' experience with the clubs in the bigger leagues - He's only ever lasted a season with those clubs, IF that. That concerns me, that he's not a coach who has been able to sustain his job at any of his clubs for multiple seasons. Swindon Town and two J-League clubs are the exceptions but even then that was only for two seasons with each of them.
Any quality coach should be able to sustain his position in some of the best leagues in the world for atleast three seasons, and I don't just mean the Big 5 in Europe, but a league like the top flight in Argentina. If he can't then he's not likely to be good enough for our NT. A guy who has been sacked after six months or a season into near every job he's had is certainly NOT a good sign!
I'd consider him another half decent candidate to add depth, lift the bar, of that 'pool of applicants,' but I hope we have even better guys in the mix than he and some of the others mentioned previously (Zola and shudder, Gullit).
