Bad luck Wilks. I'm still a big fan of yours. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Wilkshire: I Blew It? SOCCEROOS fullback Luke Wilkshire feels like he has let his team-mates down after missing a gilt-edged chance to win the Group D clash with Ghana in Rustenburg.Have your say.

If it was Timmy instead of Kennedy we'd have the goal from a overhead kick off the rebound. :(

how many times have i typed here and said Kennedy is a dud if that was any other striker on the follow they would of finished it with an open net. I blame josh having no impact on the game imo. But We played well and im proud of how we played.

not his fault. thats football man. ive seen strikers miss those, he had a good first touch and did well to get in that position, a shame he couldnt finish but he was dominant on the right

guys- if Ghana beat Germany- which is possible, then a scrappy 1-0 Pim style win against the Serbs means we're in. bloody hell- the luck might fall our way. Lets not die a death here- there is plenty of life left in this tournament yet!!!!!

Easily the best player against Germany. Why should he blame himself? No player should blame themself. They did very well. PTBA

I thought Wilkshire was our man of the match -- as indeed he is most Australian games. A one-on-one is you do or you don't, and it doesn't help when you're buggered from playing so long with 10 men.

Wilkshire did as much as anyone to actually wrap up the win. He played like a hero. Big credit to Emerton and Carney too. Moore and Luca$h sorted their issues out and excepting Moore ridiculous challenge to draw another yellow they looked solid.
Australia 7 Serbia 0 Chipperfield Double hattrick. You know you want it to happen.

Wilko, hold your head up mate. You have been OUTSTANDING for your country this campaign and Australian fans would pick you in our starting XI every day of the week. No one blames you and no one is pointing their fingers at you, you'll lift against Serbia no doubt at all!

Gotta agree with MarkD. I reckon that shonky italaian ref drove outa the stadium in his Mazerati with a bootload of euros supplied by an indian bookmaker that was boning Warnie. Wikos got my vote for future socceroo skipper. Solid as a fooking rock ladies.

Wilkshire was still arguably our best player in the game and he may have missed that chance, but several others did too. Not worth getting worked up about.

Davstar, you're a dickhead! You criticise Kennedy and other players without any substance. Behind Cahill he has the best goal scoring record in the team. Kennedy's game is built on good service into the box. It's not his fault we don't have good wingers in the team. He is the leading scorer in a pretty decent league and you can't do that if you're a dud. I think there is only one dud here and that's you by a long way!!

Yeah mate you did blow it, but meh some things were never meant to be. But,Just think of the hero status you would have if you did score, if you were single you'd get laid for years off that.
