Not impressed so far with candidates. Better and cheaper option would be to give it to Paul Okon with Vidmar as his assistant.
Unless they come up with better candidates than LeGuen? and Eriksson.

Um... I wouldnt say he failed with Lazio or Benfica. And hes won the Coppa Italia with 3 different teams.

Sven is a much better manager than people give him credit for.

We need a coach who is a winner - Sven & Le Guen don't meet that criteria.

I dont think Sven is the guy to fill the position and prefer Frank Rijkaard to other above mentioned coaches.

I'm one who thinks a coach basing himself in Europe isn't a bad thing, as long as he has a number of trips out here to watch some of the A-league, and then of course he'd be here for World Cup qualifiers anyway.

I dont think he was that bad he had Ivory Coast for like a month and he had them matching Portugal when only a few months ago they were destoryed by portugal. Why not i say a britsh manager might get some of our guys back into the EPL for another golden generation.

Yes, Cruyff would be an interesting choice. His philosophical outlook would be too much for many Australians, especially in our immature football media.
