Maybe the previous edition was for the period of the entire World Cup rather than just the month?

but last year this time they had a top 50 socceroos in the world, and they said it would be annual.l

actually i was looking back at it a couple of days ago and i can guarentee some massive changes to the list if it happens again

I think that came in the lead-up to the Asian Cup last time. This edition will have more or less the same kind of articles after last world cup if memory serves.

Just wondering, is the August release going to be the same time as usual or will it be pushed back?
