Stupid corner marking. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article New Name On The World Cup? A NEW name will be on the World Cup next Monday morning after Spain set up a final with Holland by ending Germany's dream run with a 1-0 win.Have your say.

Spain are just a superstar team. Class all over the park. The best cohesion of any team I have ever seen. Bit annoyed with Pedro - should have been two nil but I'll take that win.

Great Games in Semis Sypmhaty to Uruguay gutsy effort especially Forlan player of the tornament for me that guy never stops running, he has no problems with the ball, shame Man U let him go or they did not see the value in him? Spain V Germany best game of the tornament regardless of only one goal scored, Spain impresed me with the quality accross the park hope Pedro does not get punished for one mistake otherways he had a game of his life and he could make the difference in the final. Two totally different games 1st pure open attacking total football 2nd brilliant Juno Bonito strategies and controll. All four teams compliment to the game of football
Final: Holland V Spain 2:2 after extra time Spain wins on penalties

Pure class? I don't think so Spain needed a defender to get them through. I think this time it is the cheeseheads turn! Go the Oranje!!

with all the 'total football' on display monday morning, paramedics better park themselves outside Fozzie's home because he'll have a heart attack for sure.
My prediction: Unless Sneidjer and Robben own the game, Spain in a canter, 2 zip!

Love the irony: a team that plays a total possession game, a million passes without creating a clear chance score from the most ancient, the most timeless, most direct way of all - a thumping header by a central defender from a corner :)

This is the time for Spain, after they have taken the Euro title from Germany in 2008 in Vienna. It was not an accident; they are a good team. I am old enough to have watched the great Dutch teams of the 1970s, the one led by Johan Cruyff in 1974 and the one led by Rob Rensenbrink, Johan Neeskens and the van der Kerkhof brothers (Willi & Rene) in 1978; they were excellent but missed out on the title. This team is probably just as good, with Heitinga, Kuit, van Bronckhorst, van Persie and Sneijder. But the Spanish team have shown excellent man-on-man marking against Germany, and it probably be enough to overcome the Dutch again, unless something weird happens.

What a selfish bastard that Pedro is - kept trying to beat defenders and walk the ball into the net - while teammates unmarked in better positions. Hope he doesn't play in the finale.
Don't underestimate the Flying Dutchmen and their injury feigning theatrical brilliance.
Puyol will headbutt Robben in the chest and he will fall down dead holding his groin in agony - just you wait and see.

Muller out for Germany was the difference in the game, not enough pace or energy in the German attack.
How stiff are the Dutch? I know that no team is easy to beat when you get to this stage but they have come up against Germany in 74 and the Argies in 78, tough games. But they are a resilient bunch this team, more than some of the so called good Dutch teams of days past. 25 games unbeaten, nearly 2 years, I think they win.
