If you're not sure, see if you can substitute 'go' or 'as well' into the sentence and see which makes more sense.

"How [would I] as well do something" (too)
"How [would I] go do something" (to)

obviously 'to' makes more sense.

Too as in "as well", "I wanted to go to the movies too. It's spelled like 'to', but it has an extra 'o' as well.

There's a word in Finnish for a Grammar Nazi: pilkunnussija.

It literally means "comma fucker". :lol:

One of the great deficiencies of English is that we don't have a plural for "you", my students hated it, especially as there's two types of plural for it in Russian. I think it was pretty natural that we came up with "youse" and "y'all" here and in America respectively, and I let my students use it for colloquial conversations.
