Well way too early to be top of the ladder but can’t complain as well. 5 wins from 6 and just 2 GA is a solid Slot start ! Played pretty ordinary against wolves who always give us a game so will be interesting who and when we really click. Palace next away who again are tuff but Chelsea following and in current form will be and the first acid test.

+xHAHAHA how friggin good was that ! MU are a utter mess on the pitch, spent 500M and they got owned at OT like bottom of the table. There is no system by the look of it OR was it just how good LFC played, it sure was. Gravenberch is a new player the last 3games, he's reading play, taking runs on, creating and defending, damn impressed. Our midfield were rocks, incl the backline. The front 3 are smoking this this game. Szobo is so techincal and class at 10. Diaz wow of a game and MO, the King played with them. Clean sheet again 3 on the bounce ! A new gaffa hasn't won vs's united 1st game since mighty Paisley, couldn't be a better start for his LFC tenure. Enjoy the break fellas so will we whilst united remorse and have to wait till international break ends. Szobo MOM for me...... Casimero was Liverpool's second best player :P lol......

Cheisa coming ?! Talk of this before and now out of the blue Anfield physical is on. Bargain if so as reported. 26yrs, sure some past injury concerns but time has passed. He's not suited to Juve's style of play nowadays and looks great back up for MO on the right flank. If so Welcome to LFC Frederico have high hopes you making a impact once settled in. Darwin to Gooners ? We wait and see.

Nothing like getting up to watch the Reds 2nd match of our Slotball era. As much as we're all used to new signings I now don't have the concerns at this stage because where can you find the right players where needed for the fair $ and wanting to join us. Its pretty much steady as she goes, we have a pretty good rounded squad that going through the new Slot process being settled may work for us till the summer break, maybe. Injuries may knock this all over in no time but for now, its a very settled and mature LFC I'm watching right now. I'm not jumping on the media band wagon its Slot's more possession slower game methods - we're playing mature against 2 lower clubs that should be 3points in any case. The Bees have always giving us a tuff game no matter the stats going our way, they always test us, come close to scoring and make us work damn hard for the result. Well played fellas it was close to a text book game. Diaz great goal, more so the quick counter leading play, we've seen this all before, well put away with the weaker foot. MO, well what can you say that hasn't before. He's looking fitter and even quicker ffs long may he continue. Gravenberch, something has happenned, he's putting in and I thought played a good role with Macca. Zobo was most effective this game. In fact all were very good overall performance by all.

I was "cringing" during the 1st half. Expected Ipswich to go hard after 20yrs out of the top flight though welcome back. We hadn't played at their ground for that long as well so it would have felt very strange. Kudos on Slot making changes at HT, its woke us up to challenge as he said, contest, don't back off. Lovely seeing play falling into place. Should have put away another 2/3 chances but 2 will do by players we will continue to rely on, Jota and the King, MO. He's looking good already and congrats on scoring 9th time in a row at openning fixture.

Well season about to start and we hardly done anything in the window which is concerning. Mind you we have a sound overall squad and quite a few youth who have proven to step up but can we last and where will we be by next window. Anyway bring on first game against the promoted Ipswich. Look forward seeing how we Slot play.

Well the last game of the season is approaching 1am our time Monday as well as saying Danke to our beloved gaffa ! https://www.thisisanfield.com/2024/05/liverpool-wolves-jurgen-klopps-euphoric-8-year-rollercoaster-ride/Having been a Red supporter since the early '70's through the massive highs and amazing Legendary players incl our own CJohnston - HK eras followed by the massive lows you go through thick and thin, different owners/gaffas....... T The 05 Instanbul inspired SG win was to die for followed by more hopes and lows but the Rogers era you started to see more hope again a inspired SG and Suarez ripping the EPL apart but fizzed similar to the recent run of loss's BUT hope came to be when Klopp was to lead LFC and man didn't he from his first interview.... Could have should have won alot more BUT he brought LFC back to the heights in the modern game and Club to be feared of once again....... His personality rang through on the sideline and by the Reds on the pitch. The way some of our Reds played was out of this world, the high press, the flair, the beasting out of opponents, the passion was for all to see and feel. Sure we blew it at times but you got to take the good with the bad - risk versus standing back. His reign will always be mentioned amongst all of us incl opposing supporters/Clubs and players, his style and swagger said it all and we followed happily. Gonna miss having him lead us and I will shed some tears on Monday morning I tell you but nothing lasts forever you got to look ahead and move forwards, danke Jurgon Thanks for the wonderful bloody memories - COME ON the REDS YNWA.

Regroup we did Thankfully against Fulham. Kloppy made 6 changes and it done the job. Hats off to Gakpo one of his best games. Gravenberch another best game for him imo. Jota welcome back ! TAA - even more so welcome back and what a spot kick taken pearla ! Robbo well played. VVD/Quansah tidy at the back. 5 finals to play - one by one only way we'll be in it.

FFS - haven't the wheels fallen off the last few games. I expected us having troubles or humps but damn, feel the 2 united stuff ups have contributed mentally And the lack of finishing so so so many chances. MO is not himself since afcon and injury. So many holes through the middle to backs the last weeks but that pattern was evident for sometime, early goal/s against us thankfully recovering late in games but me think our lday luck has been used up. Can only feel slightly better that Arse lost this weekend as well but its Citys to lose now. Just hope we can regroup and finish well.

+xWhat a feckin Toon game the other day ! You'd think your down and out @ HT - 1 down, 10men and being pumped left right - post crossbars saving the day and more so, Alli, what a friggin beast of a keeper for us ! Worldy save reaction from Almoron volley omg. Our coutners of old and Nunez hitting the spot twice of all times haha +xI think every game now is oin the edge viewing from here on. I was stressing through the Seagulls game and @ home. As much as we dominated they looked so good hitting us on a counter. HTF we allowed of all players Welbeck score thaat early piss's me off and we have to chase the game once again. Kudos to our Redman we know they gonna fight back but wow how many chances gone begging I was thinking the worst sometimes. MO had a record 11 attempts, ok one counts but ffs no more MO, put a couple more away next times please. What a superb goal he finished, the build up play was perfecto viewing. Macca, what a game and a buy. Diaz, the energiser slim beast, superb aticipation for the equaliser and robust game. Young Bradley, seriously what a player for his age, so impressive. Endo/Dom partnering Macca, luv this midfield. Kudos to Seagulls, and more so DeZerbi, they play really nice one touch football and keep shape very well. We had 30shots ffs. Anyway points in the bag and the 2 foes drew. Huge April coming up ! need players back, TAA,Jota,Jones,Alli - just so all can be ready top play and the rotation needed not that we are doing anything wrong with current players. Great effort LFC keep this work up. What a Game ! Unfortunate soft goal of theirs though well played to them. Unreal how our boys keep stepping up especially the young and newbies. Macca, what a friggin BUY of the season as is Endo ! Dom another. Kelleher, just WOW this kid deserves 1st duties start up roles, must be really putting pressure on Alli now great position we are in GK wise. That 2nd half was immense, we should have taken the points, many chances even though they got a couple we had way more. Diaz was a beast and deserved one of his chances. Nice to see MO get back on the pitch. By the way, that was a pen high kick of Duko on Macca. 10 to go, we are in it all the way.

Expected 1st leg away win against Sparta P. 5-1 healthy looking score. Boys ticking along, MO 1st game back off the bench, big Dom got some runs on his legs. Some subs made to keep fresh legs looking ahead. BIG one coming up in the league @ Anfield. Pep/City visit us - imo the 2 best Clubs in the league for years now, can we sustain their brilliant ball possession, one thing is for sure they will be damn worried us breaking out on the counters, won't be season defining but huge plus if we get the 3points ! GO the REDS !

yer mate our Greek Scouse has been delivering very well the last few games. He does have a peach left boot cross and workrate. Cheeky bugga as well. What a 90+9 minute win away at Forest, damn Thanks to Nunez, he's really coming on now. Kids done good again, I'm amazed whats going on at LFC but hey not complaining. Yer Kloppy gonna go out with a bang but I'm staying on the ground, can't afford more than 1 mistake I reckon, meaning a loss its so damn close. City toyed with united watchign this morn, not that they are that much of a threat but the way city dominated is typical how they play, so so many guns that when x couple arn't on song another few are. Away Europa game coming up next and within 3 days I think the biggest main game of the season, city @ Anfield re the title. I'm not fussed of the FACup (don't get me wrong nothing like winning whatever) - for Kloppy to go out in THE bang its the title more than anything else for me. Its gonna be stressy right down to the finish line thats for sure but damn what a ride.

+xupdate - we lost ourselves vs the gooners, already in the past and we bounced back huge against Luton after being 1 down. It was a epic 2nd half to win 1-4. NOW we are the Carabao/League Cup 24 WINNERS ! What a friggin game in the end. We've used so many players through this cup its not funny But its showing how damn good our academy is developing future players as we've seen for sometime. Klopp has built a dynasty by the look of it for this Cup Final was for all to see and rejoice. So proud of the Club. 8 regulars out, 8 academy players in the team to play, 6 21yrs and younger. Every single player stood up todays game, sorry for Gravenberch, another injury for us. Kelleher, wow what a game ! The backline wow and VVD MOTM what a friggin leader and game, deserved the first disallowed goal but so so glad he got the winning goal. Now oldest LFC to score in a final might I add, by the way thats the 10th CCup for LFC. Macca wow, Endo, for a reasonably cheap buy people would think WTF, he's a rock. Diaz the whizz deserved a goal. YNWA LFC and all proud as punch. 1 down 3 to go for Kloppy...... :) Hes gonna go out ith a bang thats for sure mate :) Kelleher was immense, as was Virgil, Macca, Diaz, Endo and Robbo but more than anything very pleased with the youngsters... Bradley is gonna make things tough for Trent when he comes back but what about young Danns? holy shit the kid is hungry..... looks like he has played EPL for 2-3 seasosn already.... very pleased... My little Greekie pooh Tsimi put in a peach of a cross to get the winner eh?

yes mate never know what does occur be it from left field or the moon ! I've just had to stomach that woke hamilton to drive for my Red team in F1 out of the blue even though its been dropped in the press over some years and you think no way now its actually confirmed ffs and I really don't know how I'll take this in the future. De Zerbi isn't a bad one that has been doing the rounds, I like what he's done with a small club but ours ? don't know whole different ball game. Our history shows we really get behind the leader type - Xabi we all have emotions towards but is he the right fit ? Ex Players like KK's tenure work and not. One thing is for sure who steps in has a fanatastic foundation to steer (as long as we don't lose a couple of key players in between)...... So its a huge "question" whoever comes in and you won't tell till a few games have been played by the new gaffas manner and results. Anxious to say the least but first and foremost we can focus on the now and man, what a shredding we gave Chelsea at home. I think I just watched the LFC of 2/3 seasons back it was that dominate. They didn't have a corner till ET - amazing it was that dominate. Roll on gooners at emirates, we are firing on all cyclinders will be interesting if they can take the wind out of our sails, sure some but 90mins will interesting and possibly this is a season game breaker, beat them and we must beat city at Anfield we are on the path if it falls in place, IF.

+xAs all have seen its been the biggest news since our signing of Kloppy. Fridays news was a bombshell as big as it was when KK Shanks annouced leaving Anfield under emotional strain and circumastances. Its always heartbreaking losing any major piece that makes the Club, player and gaffa and my its friggin so so sad. Have to say well played by Klopp, his devotion and passion says it all how he invests so much into his work he could have finished end of last dismal's season but no, he wanted to re build and make sure a new platform was set knowing he had made his mind up end of last season. Can only imagine what our players are feeling amongst all this - I'm sure it will give them another injection of adrenaline but wow emotions have to be high. End of a massive enjoyable era coming supporter wise lets enjoy the road to the finish for emotions are going to huge as each game ticks off. Even todays FACup tie against Norwich had that feeling whilst watching the win. Onwards and forwards just hope it goes in slow motion. Sad day indeed mate. Jurgen has been a breath of fresh air and will go down as one of the great managers at Anfield..... Who is next do you reckon? Xabi would be a feel good story but wouldn't mind Emery or even De Zerbi ...... I will absolutely piss my pants if it is Angie..... I know I know it wont happen but eh, this is football, you never ever know......

WTF - thats 15 games we've been 1 down this season - only lost 3 of them, 2 meaningless europa games and the VAR farce at spurs. What fight there is in the club, Klopp changes again proved the right choices turning it around and the 1-2 win 1st leg in the Caraboa Semi. Young Bradley MOTM in TAA's RB, what a game. The young ones again keep doing it ! Jones just keeps getting better. Need to back it up at the cottage then its Wembly fingers crossed.

Klopp just keeps giving what a brilliant reader of the game and his players. Gooners were on us all that FACup 1st half @ the Emirates and rightfully so. Full 1st string squad to me whereas we were missing, MO, VVD, Zobo for eg. Our rortation has been brilliant and our young fellas are stepping up. Konate is playing the best I'e seen of late and young Quansah, this big kid is learning heaps from our Snr guys. Both CB's were immense. TAA is in a purple patch more than ever. Glad Gomez he also is showing what we expect from him just great. Macca first game back from injury bit slow but will come good. Jones and Elliot deliver more and more. Klopp made structure changes at HT and then the subs once again change the game more, winning at Emirates against this good gooner team is really showing we are on the right track !
