If the Jets keep losing players will Van Egmond complete his rise to legend status by taking up Durante's vacant central defensive role..? They might have to get Joel Griffith's wife and Song's mum to fill in through the middle as well... I'd still have those three in my team ahead of Jason Hoffman or Jobe Wheelhouse...

Haha... i agree completely.... I hear Songs mum has a wicked left foot.... and she is more effective in front of goal than Hoffman...

Adam D'Apuzzo is overated. So Newcastle lost Bridge and Durante. I think Ryan Griffiths will fill Bridgy's spot very well and A. Elrich will probably slot into defence to take Durantes spot. Newcastle will have some cash up their sleeve and hopefully they get the recruiting right this year. If they can win a GF with a bad year in recruiting imagine how Dutchy would go with a good one.

I have a feeling the Jets will snag back Adam Griffiths to play in Durante's position. He did it extremely well in the first half of last season. Then have Musialik (if he signs by tomorrow arvo), Elrich, Thomo, Song across the middle with Adam and Ryan Griffiths at the front...

I agree D'apuzzo is overrated, but he played alright in that back / wing position towards the end of the year. If he goes elsewhere then the Jets will have to recruit a defender. Which is a load of shite considering they just let one of the most promising ones in the country go...

Adam Griffiths is going to be a busy boy... Playing centre half, as well as striker. :p

Sorry JOEL and Ryan Griffiths... But i don't think the Jets will get Ryan for next season so they are probably gonna go another year without a strike partnership.
