After a full 3 week trial, the Mariners have opted not to sign Damian Zalio. Good to see we're holding out for quality.

anybody got the goss on whether he's the goods? I assume he must be doing at least OK if he is still there. Where is Perez? Injured?

Damian Zalio has been trialling with us for the past 2 weeks and is still here trying to impress an indecisive Arnold.

Zalio is definitely here on the Central Coast trialling with us this week. The actual signing isn't definite yet but word on the street is that Arnie is planning to sign him anyway but wants to go through a few precautionary things first. A medical and other things too.

Whether as a guest player or a permanent signing I don't know.

That's been updated and I presume he was released a while ago, because no mention of him there or in the page's 'recent' history (like this year) of squad list changes. Though with Wikipedia you can never be too sure, the page may not be updated that reliably.


Hmmm now those Youtube videos are interesting, you see, who posts them? Often people from those countries, leagues, and not always, infact often, they're NOT English speakers! That Youtube clip actually revealed enough information to glean closer - The club featured in that 'Damian Zalio 2009' that he played for was C.P. Cacereno - I searched for them, through the es.Wikipedia, and then the page's revision history and found 'Zalio' listed during 2009, but he doesn't even have an es.Wikipedia site, let alone English one.

Ok it's definitely Zalio. Turns out he arrived here late last week and is going to start trialling with us this week.

they wont be allowed to be promoted. if its anything the same as my football manager game where real madrid B not only won the segunda, but also won the copa del rey xD, then they have to stay in the segunda and the next highest ranked team goes up
