Yeah well, apparently he hasn't been fit at all so far this season, hasn't really impressed at all in his sub appearances and then got injured and will be out for a few more months.
Pity too since I was eagerly expecting a lot from him this season as he has a good CV, but apparently he also has a "decent" track record of injuries along with it.

Joel Griffiths is a twat and not selecting him and telling him to quickly (f*** off) was the 2nd best thing Verbeek ever did. Nick Ward is another drop kick similar to Nik Mrdja part of the sorta of old generation of players who have been in the A-league. Never a star was good enough when it began but the level of the HAL has risen but his level never has.

well there you go, Joel could possibly earn much more where he is, with Century City looking a bit shaky on the finance front I wouldn't have picked this happening, but hey anything is possible.

Some fella claiming he knows what he's on about on the Yellow Fever forums reckons Joel Griffiths is not happy in Beijing and wants a return to the A-League. So the Nix will take him in January window. Also claims Toto, Crowther and Diego will leave then. Anyone want those three?
Also says Ward wants out, already. More
A bit fragile this but he may know what he's talking about.
