So it's down to this. Order of legs haven't been decided yet. I trust the away goals rule is in? The away leg should be played in Malaysia. I can't see them changing it up.

This is a tricky game they have shown they cam match with the best of Asia.We struggled to win against Iraq and Thailand or Syria a stronger add on top of that a coach who shows to much complacency and FFA in a mess.

Exactly in rd 2.There a much improved team now.We aren't Japan to and we struggle against breaking down so called weaker nations as the system we play leaves us open.

We are good enough to qualify through this route but we are not playing well enough to do it. Maybe the reality of the situation will sink in this morning and help change that.

There's no way we can get this transferred to that big national stadium. That'd have a good pitch I'd assume. Might Syria try and arrange the game in hotter weather? Oman? I'd rather have the away leg first. Get an away goal.

They might not want Malaysia as it's closer to Australia, but on the other hand only three of our last squad are based in Australia anyway, and they're more used to the conditions there, probably not in their interests to change.

I agree and luck had a bit to do with it (hitting the post 3 times and 3 times cleared off the line) having said that I wonder if there has been a more inefficient performance from any wc qualifiers than scoring 2 from 45 shots...... Finishing is a worry and I don't see it getting better in the next few years

Suggestions as to where the home leg should be played? A league and a couple of grand finals around that time but the grounds have the durability.

It'll be in Sydney, Allianz most likely given ANZ will host NRL the week before. Get through that and we'll be in Melbourne for the final qualifier. It's not even a discussion.

I honestly don't care anymore. I'll be shocked, SHOCKED if we qualify. Even if we somehow manage to get past the powerhouse that is Syria, we'll find a way to fuck it right up in concacaf. I have no faith left. Ange can go...

Play this in Sydney... No where else need to reignite the passion that was associated with the Uruguay WC playoff spot
