I heard that a french player called Gourcuff is going to have a guest stint with Sydney FC start of next season.

I cant find the article at the moment.

I heard he is a very good player in the french league....

Can anyone confirm this??

Good point RAM, given the high population of gay people in Sydney, this could not only be good for the team, but also for the marketing sides of things. Sydney FC might actually get something right..

yoann gourcuff is a superstar in the making. if this rumour which is 99% false becomes true, id be extremely happy and id spend a lot of merchandise but gourcuff is happy at lyon playing in the champions league. he left bordeaux to play in eufa champions league so why would he come to aus and play in the asian champions league

also the papers say man utd are going for gourcuff so this rumour is now 100% fake
