so guys, who have you re-signed, who have you transfered in?
We all know Jean Paul De Marigny will be the First Grade coach for 2011.
Elsid Baksoud has resigned and is a great player, same with Luka Glavas, a god strike force indeed.
More news?

Well, we should still have the core of our team from last season...so we are happy about that... Joey Vrkic has retired and Lyons has left the club, so to Timpano. We have added Ben Vidaic and Ricky Perinich to our list so far... We also hope to recapture Ante Tomic from Melbourne Heart and Mirjan Pavlovic from Wellington, they both had outstanding seasons for us last season, was a shame they had to leave before the finals series. Rumors have it we might be signing Antony Golec back from Sydney FC. Janjetovic Markovic Collina Cindric Thompson Tomic - hopefully Bosnar Mitchell Hayes Elsid Glavas Pavlovic - Hopefully Perinich Vidaic Zorbas - Not to sure about.

So Ben the prodigal son returns . Hopefully gets back to the form he showed in 2006, and hopefully Marigny can lead us to another title.
If we can get Tomic and Pavlovic back and Golec will just be excellent.

We are just happy that United are coming to play us. I/the club are really trying hard to build the clubs reputation back up so that hopefully we can start attracting quality Croatian players who dont make Uniteds side. Also what we are trying to hopfully achieve is to work closely with the United fans make them feel welcome so that if United are playing away or you cant make a United game then hopefully you guys come down and support us, because without support from the Cro community then the club will end up losing its identity and will just become another run of the mill club. To address the bar question.... The bar is always open guys so bring some friends and enjoy yourselves. Come and say hello to me and ill gladly buy you a drink mate. Oh by the way i can assure you that we wont be going out to kick them because im the first grade coach hahaha.

Good to see Bosna working it's way back up...
My family used to go to Bosna quite often in my younger days and I was meant to play for Bosna back in the late 90s but we ended up moving back to Croatia. The guy who ran the place at the time was a close family friend so we were there very often
Not that it matters, but just out of curiousity... are you Croatian? Just asking because it's unusual for Croats to follow Rangers

I know a few of the Werro boys and they are pretty good guys. As for my take on them using the facilities there i really dont want to get involved in that discussion too political, im just concentrating on trying to get us promoted this year which i think we have a good chance. So dissapointed that we just missed out last year, but at least we are heading in the right direction thi will be my 3rd year as coach there and every year we have improved so hope its this year we win it! make sure you bring a heap of boys to the game you are all welcome with open arms. We also have our first trial match this sunday at home against Gladesville kick off is after all the United youth games so reserves is 4:30 and First Grade 6:15

Not that it matters, but just out of curiousity... are you Croatian? Just asking because it's unusual for Croats to follow Rangers  Haha no not Cro but i was a massive fan of Dado Prso! i believe the best way to explain the situation and forgive the spelling is Govorim malo ucim Hrvatska. HAHAHA. The reason i took the job at Bosna is because it was a big challange and wanted to get them back to where they were. I hear all the time that they used to get heaps of people there to support the club and for whatever reason a lot of those people havent come back so i am trying hard to get as many of these guys back to support us. Ive sent emails to cro tv and radio to try and get publicity and its starting to pay off. I feel a little bad because at the moment there isnt many Cros in the side but unfortunatly the Cros that were there when i took over werent that good, so the first step is to build a side capable of attracting quality Cro players so the club can keep its pround heritage. this is why im trying so hard to reach out to the Cro community to get that support. Having been here for 2 years now i can honestly say i love the club and cant say enough of the guys like Stanko, Drago and Velimir and the efforts they give to keep the club running and even though im Scottish i almost feel Cro sometimes such is my passion for this club! Through our hard work we have been able to attract a number of young talented Cro kids for our under 20's side and hopefully they can grow through the club for years to come. I dont know how involved or connected you all are within the United supporter group but like i said please consider us as a second option to United so we can all take this club forward. Cheers guys.

Respect, loyalist! I always love seeing non-Croats coming into our clubs and getting heavily involved to the point where they feel part of it as well. If most of our community had your passion and committment all of our clubs would be a lot better off.
We'll definitely come down if this friendly is confirmed. We'll see what happens throughout the season... a few of the boys have some involvement with Werrington Croatia so are often at the club anyway

Ah Spewing, would of loved to see the clash...Maybe after the Melbourne trip? Just thought it was a bit too close to the Melbourne game, game one night, then flight, then another game would of been a bit too much.

Sydney United revving up for huge 2011 season 31.01.11 16:37 Sydney United have welcomed back former star defender Mark Rudan (right) shown in action against former Newcastle Jets defender Ljubo Milicevic last season. NSW Premier League side Sydney United have commenced the new season with new coach Jean Paul De Marigny who has gathered his troops together in the hope of capturing the Premiership and Championship in 2011. The former National Soccer League giants have been able to re-sign a number of players from the 2010 NSW Premier League season with the likes of players such as Steve Hayes, Damon Collina, Mitchell Thompson, Vedran Janjetovic, Elsid Barkhousir and Luka Glavas to name a few that have once again donned the Reds jersey. Two welcome additions to the club have come in the form of two ex-players; one being striker Ben Vidaic who has returned to Edensor Park after a stint with the Sutherland Sharks in 2010 while ex-Sydney FC defender and influential star Mark Rudan has also penned a deal with the club. Milan Bosnar has also returned to the club after playing the 2010 season with Dandaloo in the Illawarra Premier League. The club is still yet to finalise its squad with the possibility of a couple more faces added to the line-up prior to the season commencing in late March. Sydney United 2011: Steve Hayes, Ben Vidaic, Todd Brodie, Elsid Barkhousir, Damon Collina, Michael Cindric, Mitchell Thompson, Vedran Janjetovic, Luka Glavas, Petar Markovic, Ivo Bosnar, Ricky Perinich, Ryan Norval, Mark Rudan, Milan Bosnar, Daniel Rezo. -By Mark Stavroulakis http://www.footballnsw.com.au/index.php?id=17&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=4688&tx_ttnews[backPid]=389&cHash=3143caba74

Dear community, Earlier, I assigned one of my lead intelligence officers, Mr Wong to investigate the case of 'Paoktzi' who utilises the aliases 'SydneyOlympic1957' and 'UltraGirl' within this community. My intelligence officer has completed his investigation and has provided photographic evidence to confirm the appearance of Paoktzi/SydneyOlympic1957/UltraGirl. Please see below: The Islamic Republic of Iran is always keen to assist the intelligent and respected community of 442 in exposing those with ulterior motives to the detriment of Australian football like Paoktzi/SydneyOlympic1957/UltraGirl. Regards, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad President, Islamic Republic of Iran

Remember on here he is PAOKTZI as paoktzi is a different forum member who is quite reasonable.

Did you miss the quote I posted? Anyway, this has nothing to do with Ultragirl, this is to do with SydneyOlympic1957 being Paoktzi, a user who has been banned multiple times for trolling, abusive posting, and ignoring forum rules. One of those rules being that you're not allowed to use multiple alias'. Unless you're saying that Ultragirl is infact these people as well? (I think He/She is, but as you said, it can't be proven). People are free to express their opinions. Just don't go around abusing other posters, or creating multiple accounts to do it.
