doubt it...so far i have seen olpympic,blacktown and bonnyrig play and blacktown and bonnyrig are way ahead of SOFC, also blacktown have signed some of last years parra squad.......bastards pinched them when parra offered shit money.......

and if SOFC are so shit hot they only beat parra 2-1 in a trial 3 weeks ago.......

Parra have lost alot of last years squad, Parramatta are now owned by granville association and they wont spend the money on player payments, hope they can improve for the season, but have to say i have seen this happen with nepean, penrith panthers were forced to merge with nepean and the reat is history......lets hope that isnt the scenario being played out here.....

yes player payments have been slashed, granville are running this on a shoestring......bloody stupid really, considering that granville purchased parramatta and they really should be treating them like the jewel in their crown, and use this promotion into the NSWPL to lift the club to another level, but unless brian dene can get some quality players in its back to superleague........................

all insults aside, if its true that player wages have been slashed, i wonder how does that happen. one would of thought if youre going up a league that wages would be matched if not increased. doesnt make sense. sure there are higher costs to play in the PL, but theres also greater revenue as more people will watch their games etc.

Wollongong beat Melita in a trial today down in Wollongong, didn't watch the game myself but apparently Petratos Snr is playing for them, according to a mate of mine at the game said Melita were quite ordinary.
