Ben Vidaic, the young Sydney FC striker has had his contract paid out by his former club and is set to be one of the first signings for Melbourne Victory's youth squad.

Vidaic, who was frustrated by the lack of opportunities last season, was not seen as a required player by Sydney FC after the signigs of Aloisi and Bridge who join Brosque to become one of the best strike forces in the league.

Melbourne, who were dissapointed after missing out on Vidiac to Sydney last season, are set to partner the young striker with Nathan Elasi in Melbournes inaugural youth team.

I think it's closer to 8/10, according to the jungle drums. Not quite sure how paying out contracts at this point in the 'season' affects the salary cap for next season though, although he might just have had *this* season paid out and agreed to rip up his contract for next... However, Sydney assured me on Friday that they still had 19 players - including Vidaic - contracted for next season.

Justin, next time, please put it through the proper Rumour Mill submissions form. Apart from keeping the place neat and that, I get an email telling me it's been submitted and can then apply the BS filter...

Thanks.
