IIRC Popa didn't sign for much anyway, as in less than 100k.

He is also a good locker room leader. Thats why Culina liked him so much and made him captain.

can someone give Brett Mackenzie of Hunter Valley a nice big cup of shut the hell up?
These rumours are so baseless they don't even justify the title of rumour...

poppa's the reason culina got the sack, culina is a big fan of body laungage and at training he notieced players where down, now he asked tony as captain what was wrong with tony saying nothing was wrong then preety much when culina left poppa was up to the board to get culina saked, what kinda captain does that,

He is not going anywhere. He has experience and sydney need that as the team are about to be average age of at least 30 so that makes them one of the older teams. so much for young blood in sydney. Oh stuart is from newcastle and biddle will be fighting for a start as well as nick and santalab. Kossi mate still stuck in the dark . . . i like the potential of the team for 2008-2009 when these guys were in their 20 tee's

but he wouldnt move to another club, when he came to sydney from that Qatari club, he said he wants to finish his career in Sydney; so if he was shown the door he would retire

i would go on a limb and say if he hadnt gone to the qatari league and came straight to sydney he would of played a lot better last season, i know its clear but it makes sence, he would have droped to there level then have to pick himself up to the standard of the a-league which at he's age can be tough,

yer and if figo and jay jay had actually played like they had in spain/england they would of killed it instead of using it as a paypacket, you cant tell me jay jay put as much effort into playing there as he did playing for bolton,
