To me, "Grassroots" should be about junior football, amateur leagues, regional leagues, etc.... whilst "State League" would be about the more well known clubs such as Marconi, Sydney Olympic, South Melbourne, Adelaide City etc.

Now that that forum is renamed "State League", I can see people only posting about the bigger clubs, whilst the lower end of the spectrum is not really catered for.

The "Performance" forum is just a coaches' soapbox, much of which is tedious to read...

Grass Roots has been split into two separate sections; State League (for threads pertaining to the lower-level clubs) and Performance (for threads pertaining to training and what you get up to at your local club). No need to bring back Grass Roots, if anything they've separated the bollocks.

I see that the grass roots section has been changed to state league. To be honest I was sick and tied of reading all of the club crap that appeared and the fighting betwen rival supporters but there is still a true need for a grass root section and my thoughts are it should be added back and keep state league seperate.

Does anyone agree?
