Are you on drugs?
So gate takings are there only revenue?
So let's ignore:
1. Canteen - which I can confirm at Olympic is a few thousand dollars every home game. 2. Sponsorships - the way majority of teams are paying the bills. 3. Youth League profits from registration + canteen.

Maybe Football Australia might want to hear about your clubs "profitts' from registration as they currently investigating the clubs "over-charging". Please accept my sincerest apologies. I was referring to the other 11 clubs champ. Edited by ralerasic: 2/6/2011 05:20:24 PM

Will be lucky to page 2 weeks wages with that. Do you see my point? its not alot when you consider they have to pay FNSW $30k to enter at the begining of the season.......12 teams at $30k = $360k, and the best FNSW can do is $30k........not even 10%,shows how much of a tight fisted miserable bunch FNSW are.......Edited by batfink: 3/6/2011 08:43:24 AM

Maybe that's how it works at Melita and other small Super League clubs, but the bigger established clubs pay all their players. You have to have a list of 20 "semi-professional" players sent to the federation. These 20 must be paid whatever is said in their contract - as the above post said it's usually 300 for really young players - to 1500, plus bonuses for wins. Most youth league players get paid a base of 50-150, but get extra for wins also.

Youth League Players don't get paid that's right. youth league players pay somewhere between 1500-200 to pay with the exception of the sutho boys whos registrations are subsidised by their assoc. thats for 13-18's. under 20's pay much less, there was a gentlemans agreement re amount for 20's, although some clusb have 20's who are paid as part of their first grade squads or others who are effectively on scholarships. anyway, here's hoping games are on this weekend! good luck to all teams.

Generally this is true, there are some talented youth players who dont pay rego fee's and the clubs cover the costs to have them in the squad......but generally your right....

BWE v Olympc 3:0 Bonnyrigg gave Olympic a good kick in the pants football lesson, Olympic had few chances in the first 10 min of each half, the rest of the time was played mostly in the Olympic's half. Olympic finished with 10 men, should have finished with 9 men, BWE player no 7 was ankle tackeled by Olympics defender who was the last man. Very good result for Bonnyrigg, crowd about 900 mostly Bonnyrigg supporters Olympic about 30 supporters plus the referee.

Macmaster dirtyy player should of received a yellow card
How can a player commit 4 fouls in five minutes and get nothing
The ref was terrible let everything go in the first half and refused to give Bonnyrigg a card and in the first half
Game wasnt played in Olympic half The game was a midfield battle and Bonnyrigg where the better team for the full ninety minutes
They looked better in the counter attack and there defence clearly kept Mileski and Smith quiet
Mileski send off gave Bonnyrigg the 2 goals and Olympic ran out off legs
The better team one but it was when Mileski got sent off where we copped 2 late goals
Why was Mileski given a straight red No12 i missed it He let several fouls go but gave gave him a red
As for the ancle it was a yellow card that was it lol Last man wtf he was 45 metres out lol lol lol
No 12 Anyway good win Rememeber we are on 23 points with 11 home games and you guys ARE IN 16 POINTS A LONG WAY BEHIND
Im not a betting man but with Olympic 7 points ahead and 11 home games im willing to say we will finish above you guys

Macmaster is not a dirty player excelent goal he scored, Ankle tackel at 45m is almost half way, free kick was awarded at 20m to 25m max, as far as 30 Olympic supporters I was joking even if there were half Olympic supporters there, no one heard them, Mileskie's sent off do not know all I could see was that our no 16 was holding his face possible elbow Mileski is a good player and he does not play dirty, Bonnyrigg supporters said that he was playing for us tonight and sent him self off as favour to us. As far as your 23 points long season and do not know how many points you will get if you play like this, your hart was not in it today also no excuses you had a full strnght team

As per grant from Canterbury council and federal Govenment stage one of renovations to dressing rooms and ther replacements of 9000 seats and gym and offices for Canterbury Rugby league and repairs to roof and other repairs The venue was out of action
First game will be this Wednesday in the Waratah Cup against Blacktown and FIRST home game against South Coast Wolves next weekend
7 9 MILLION will be spend on the venue and playing fields outside Belmore Sports Ground Half the venue will still be out of action with fans not allowed to sit in the grant stand for a few more weeks

I folow BWE so I could only go to our games, so far no one mentioned this about Olympic's home games till now. Bonnyrigg always has about the same crowd at home and most of the fans travel to away games also. Unlike your supporters how many did you have at the cup game? Some very good goals in that game, Sverino 35m screamer also legit goal from a corner from Severino disaloud, only ref knows why he disaloud that goal? As far as No 16 holding his face after Mileski's incident, yeah he is only 18 yo and also had physio assistance, ref picked it up, if anything kid is too honest, had a very good game unlucky not to score, kept Smith and Mileski out of the game and scoreles. Good luck for the season today BWE played better and won :-({|=

We finished second last last season and still had the highest crowd average for the season. You're a joke. Joffa wrote:Why 11 straight away games, is your home ground out of action for some reason? Belmore Sports Ground got Grants sponsored by the Bulldogs, Canterbury Council and State government. They're revamping it. I think within the next 5 years they want to move some NRL games back there. This has meant while they're fixing parts of it, Olympic has had to play the first half of the season away from home. The second round starts next weekend, and for us to finish top of the table with playing all away games, im very happy with that result. Even the first few rounds The Grand Stand, or maybe parts of it, will be closed because of construction.
