over 2k to watch south without ljubo is pretty good, with ljubo over 3k next home game i say with no publicity - FFA wake up!

It wasnt 2k, maybe 1200 odd...pretty good considering the opposition...i would say with those ads now appearing on sen promoting South games the crowds should go up, cant underestimate that sort of exposure.

the commentators doing the ffv live game said Ljubo's paperwork will be sorted out this weeek and will play against heidelberg, time will tell.

The Bottom two looks about right, it will probably stay that way at seasons end!

Ljubo or no Ljubo its still a long way from the 8000 plus Hellas used to get at its games in the mid 1990's.

but its still great for this current level imo...yesterdays crowd would have rivalled numerous games out at Robina this season, lets not be greedy, if that 1000-1500 can be maintained it bodes well for the future...think the key for South is to make the grand final...you will see those 8,000 come out of the woodwork...the thing that pleases me most is that our fanbase isnt based on any one suburb, our fans literally come from all over Melbourne, we can play at albert park, northcote, oakleigh etc and the fans are still there in numbers....and most importantly the majority are young.

Dandy Thunder - three wins from three games.. Another solid win against Richmond, also good to see Captain Dukes get him name on the score sheet this week. Back home next week against Hume City, lets see if we can get another 2500+ crowd again.
