Following their recent return to their winning ways and a return of some form of momentum that they hope to maintain for at least the first ten minutes of their next match Newcastle United are preparing a contingency plan aiding their campaign to win promotion in season 2009.
With Kevin Keegan tight lipped speculation is rife on the Tyneside as to what this plan may be, but inside reports state that a large and integral part of this plan will be to grovel, beg and bribe Magpie great Alan Shearer out of retirement to bring in some form of scoring prowess to the club which has struggled to score all season, in an attempt to launch Newcastle back to the English top flight.
It is believed that more information will follow from St. James Park in the following weeks and more will become apparent as the Championship season gets closer to kicking off next August.
