You must be cut, you've discovered a story thats a year old and signed up just to bang your drum that you haven't been paid for banging your drum. How about we call Dunn & Bradstreet for you?

not sure what it is like in NSW but Vic state league clubs face similar problems with player wages the main issue.

once the youth league and expansion gets up and running, the state leagues will need to redefine more as a development pathway. The clubs are just gonna have to learn to live within their means.

I think its safe to say that any Western Syd team will be a new franchise so everyone can feel included. No point in starting a team and isolating potential fans and revenue from the get go.

like theres a chance of any western sydney state league clubs joining to make a consortium! Too many egos, too many ethnic groups, too many rivarlries.
I know, how about Sydney United and Marconi? Errr no! hmmm..... maybe Sydney United and Bonnyrigg White Eagles?HA! .... Blacktown and Parramatta? Babow and sorry, Bankstown aren't even worth pairing off.
Any western sydney bid would have to be completely new and free of any existing club - all those clubs out there are f@%%$ed anyway

i doubt any of the state league clubs on their own could bid for a west Sydney license. A couple of consortiums are looking at putting in bids apparently, have not heard any specifics yet.

I guess the provisional licence for western Sydney might be a bit out of reach this year. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Blacktown City Demons in Financial Trouble [RUMOUR]? Have your say.
