there were a few missing but still no excuse, it was a very poor performance. the boys looked disjointed to be honest. anyway, its still a trial and theres enough quality in our squad to suggest we will go ok this year. naidovski can score goals, ditto monie. anyway, wait and see.

We did beat Marconi a week before.

rockdale as a team looked at all sorts, they have a lot of work to do if they are thinking of a top 5 finish...they will be fighting relegation if sunday nights trail was any indication....

but lets hope not, i predicted rockdale to finish 5th or there abouts, and i must say, Kudos to the new grandstand, its a small stadium, with a nice club house, a real traditional club...nothing better then going into smaller state league grounds like that... brings a great atmoshpere as well...

expect a large portion of United fans there during the season. :)

1st goal 2 metres offside
2nd goal poor back pass intercepted
3rd goal same as above same player,intercepted by a player coming back on side and had 5 metre advantage.....
4th goal well deserved and well taken
5th goal another poor pass by another average player,

parra scored twice both disallowed, and had several other chances, 4 goals scored first half,3 in the first 15 mins, second half different squad only 1 nil, and marconi didnt have it all their way in second half, also ref we had has sent 4 parra players off in semis last year and was a C##t last night.....so not all that bad, it will be different when the comp starts.......

all in all parra's ball movement way to slow and the transition was like watching paint dry.....

thats fine, my son plays at parra so i have to support them, and im sure brian dene will change things around to improve things, money is the drama here i think.........GDSFA are tight arses......

expect a change in form for the boys next match. the clubs goal remains to play in finals football and on paper, that is most definitely feasible. no doubt the usual suspects have strong squads (bonno, syd utd, sutho, olympic, marconi) but yeah, were definitely in there.

the stadium is a work in progress but its a perfect size for PL games. roof over the seats is next stage of development. look forward to seeing many united fans at our ground when you guys play us. there werent many travelling fans for the corresponding fixture last season but hopefully there will be this year.
