No A-league club can even enter negotiations with Flores until the final six months of his contract because of FFA regulations. Given that he is on a 2 year deal and has only played one of those seasons with us, there is no chance of this happening. Anyone who thinks Flores would go to Melbourne anyway is an idiot. This isn't even a rumor, it's stupidity.

there was a rumour a couple months back about Flores to Urawa iirc, so maybe something to do with that

He was linked to them and to an Argentinian team as well. One made an offer from memory and he turned it down as he wanted to stay at AUFC. He is actually his own manager so does all his own negotiations, means you can actually trust what he says and he communicates a lot via Facebook etc. A super approachable bloke and worth as much if not more off the field than on.
