Quote:Webber fucking ripped up the field. Another 10 laps i reckon he would have been in it for #1st, He fucking took out everyone!!! Dude, another two or three laps and he'd have finished first. He was incredible. You can see he's not impressed but he should be very proud of that drive. David Coulthard had a few great comments in that race. He makes it interesting. Pair him up with Murray Walker I say! Edited by afromanGT: 17/4/2011 06:52:59 PM

Bloody fantastic drive by Webber. Shame he couldn't get higher. And as much as I hate Hamilton, it's good not seeing Vettel win.

vettel's young and inexperienced. He's a great driver and he's just been portrayed as a pantomime villain by so many of the australain media. Webber looked kind of pissed off tbh.

I understand that Webber feels hard done by. When he joined RBR he would have been under the impression that he was going to be the number 1 driver. Unfortunately RBR have decided to invest in their 'long term' future and back Vettel. From a business perspective it's the right call for them. Unfortunatley Webber has been screwed over in the process. I can't fault RBR, or Vettel, Webber needs to understand this and we feel bad for him and all, but don't portray Vettel as the bad guy that he isn't.

Still fucking hilarious, the massive filthy that Vettel gave him. Even Hamilton noticed what Webber was getting at and gave a little smile. I thought it was brilliant :D.

How fucked is that first corner though in Shanghai? It's nearly a full fucking circle. I just did a race around it in my F1 04 game, and it made me dizzy every time i went round the corner . Just goes on and fucking on. Love the fact that it's basically a right hand, 45 degree turn into the main straight. I think that's the only track that has a 45 degree turn in it.

Yup so just the one retirement last night. Jaime Alguersuari had his right rear wheel fall off on Lap 9. Someone in his pit crew is gonna get fired

Did anyone else see when Jensen Button and Vettel went in to do their pit stop - and Button pretty much came to a complete stop in the wrong garage (he stopped in the Red Bull one instead of his own)... Funniest thing I have ever seen.

With all the amazing technology and perfect sytems they have at their disposal... good to see these freaks still make simple mistakes  Webber.. what can you say? Very enjoyable to watch. Just a pity that the BBC commentators seem so focussed on Lewis and Jenson.

From recollection it was the second last one (vettels being the last one). And don't the pit crew were the same suits as the drivers???? Not to mention they're completly differant from Red Bull Racings, Button's is a white-ish, silverish, and Vettels were Dark Blue with the red Red Bull logos.... Still, fucking lulz. Gotta love pit fuck ups - almost as entertaining as crashes.

From recollection I think the commentator mentioned something about Button previously driving for Red Bull and that may have been the reason for the confusion ... Plus love the idea of F1 cars having horns. They'd have to be pretty loud to pierce through the F1 engine noise.

I feel sorry for Jaime Alguersuari who was the only retirement in the entire race - his rear wheel just came loose about half a lap after he came out of the pits. Can see him storming into his pit garage and giving a solid uppercut to the mechanic who was on that wheel. He'll be pretty pissed considering he was 7th on the grid. One racer who i'm really liking, and is going to be a serious force in a season or two is Vitaly Petrov. Had a hilarious crash in Malaysia, but he's not a bad driver.

In previous years, cars would have gone off on that corner jostling for position early, I think a lot of drivers have lost that hunger early on in the race and they're becoming more and more of a parade. There's a serious lack of comings together or really competitive driving this season. I think KERS has made things worse, not better.

Senna died two days after I was born.
Was an emotional couple of days for my dad, seeing me born then his favourite driver pass away.
I obviously never seen him race, but from what I've read and seen in videos he was one of the best drivers of all-time.
R.I.P Senna.

R.I.P Senna. Myself and my brother were still young (mid teens) when he died. We were watching the race - I'll never forget it. The news he died filtered through late in the broadcast. I'm not really a sentimental bloke, but I felt as if something had been ripped away from me. The shock and disbelief is still raw 17 years later.
