I think this idea was discussed when the ipad edition was first announced and whether it would be available on the Galaxy Tab. KA said there were no immediate plans to release for other platforms.

Guys, just wondering if the iPad edition of 442 is specifically iPad (done through the app store with royalties etc to Apple) or whether you'd be looking at broadening it to a wider tablet market including the various Andriod tablets out there or even the Kindle?

Dodgy-but-possibly-effective way of doing it might be to essentially just make the iPad edition a glorified website that has a subscription model allowing subscribed paying users to log in and view a feature and media-rich "magazine" site engineered at a platform whose screen size is generally smaller than most computers, but still pretty good. Might be a way around the royalties-to-Apple-through-the-App-Store method too.

That said I don't even have a tablet yet, so I might be unaware that this already exists!

I can also hear The Web Guy or whoever would have to design said site crying, too. ;)
