The visitors were on the back foot and finished the day with nine men after both Jesse Krncevic and Ljubo Milicevic were sent off.

Richard Cardozo had put Hume ahead with a cracking strike before first Krncevic, for a behind the play incident, and then Milicevic, whose challenge was clumsy and high, were shown straight red cards.

Think its just one of those games you cant analyse, first 10 minutes South should have been 2-0 up, after the chaos the match became a training run, South subbed a few of its better players immediately after half time as their was no point really.

Cardozo playing a blinder pretty much sums it up, he should have been sent off in the first 10 mins for an ankle breaker on Gasparis...anyhow can only hope these ref decisions even themselves up over the course of the season, certain south players like fernando and gasparis have every right to ask questions when they come in for heavy attention every week and the refs never take action...6 years in the vpl and South have probably only played with a man advantage like 2 times.

Anyhow provided it remains 11 v 11 im confident even a depleted South team can give Dandenong a big scare in a fortnights time...time for the kids to step it up but it wont be easy against the powerful thunder and its team of strong backpackers.
