Everyone's leaving, looks like a six team competition next season. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Nikita's Bundesliga Trial With Hannover? YOUNG Perth Glory striker Nikita Rukavytsya has been invited to trial with German Bundesliga side Hannover 96.Have your say.

I dont think hes that good, yet. Is he any chance of playing for Ukraine? If so we should cap him, as much as i hate giving underserving players caps.

Well if he is undeserving, then who cares?

Hes underserving because hes not in the top ten aussie strikers at the moment yet hes getting a look in because he might be in a few years, ala bouzanis, not the best keeper but we're being urged to cap just incase someone else takes him.
We should make players pledge, on paper, their allegiance the same day they sign their forst pro contract.

And you think FIFA would take the "mk0825 pledge" as law over their own rules? Edited by f1dave: 4/4/2008 03:25:44 PM

And look, best of luck to Nikita but he should be playing for Glory this year and then look to go overseas.
The worst thing he could do is go too soon and find himself in Hannover reserves for 2 or 3 years...

He hasn't signed for them, and he won't. He will be playing for Glory next season. All he is doing over there is getting some pre-season training.

Football manager is so dodgy. I have the best team ever as Central Coast and I still lose the A-League to Perth's 07/08 team.

Perth had good potential last year. I think we have to really do some sole searching and a long pre season akin to what AFL teams Bulldogs and Geelong have done recently. Both are now the sides to beat afer being two of the worst in the competition.

Bulldogs are the Fremantle of Melbourne, and Geelong are the undisputed kings of AFL...

I agree with Tommycash. We did have a good squad on paper last year, but then Tarka got injured in Round 1, Lazza was out for longer than his ban and we found out Mate Dragicevic sucked. re:good luck to Nick. Him and Downey were awesome last year, and he deserves his chance to go to germany.

+xWho knows that might have been :D He did well at Hertha and got some time at Mainz. Its not as if he is doing bad at Maccabi either, playing regularly, contributing with goals and assists. As someone mentioned in another topic, it would be good to see him play centrally with the national team rather than outwide
