yeah obviously they can't buy players from other a-league clubs but melbourne heart are signing 3 overseas players which are a class above the a-league as they have played in bigger leagues and better teams

in regards to cernak, no thats not the reason why he had a bad acl tournament, i watched all of the matches he played and to be honest he didn't make much of an impact in them

i think mehmet would be an ok coach for next season but he will definitely be tested, being the coach of the youth team he only managed to achieve second last on the youth league ladder and if it wasn't for a win on the last game of the season, wouldve come dead last. Having said that, he did however improve the team over the ACL tournament in the little space of time he had but IMO mehm is not the coach that will win victory a premiership

I double checked with him, and told him that it was probably only the discussions that have surfaced in the newspapers, but she was adamant that the director told her that Kewell had actually been signed.

I'm not sure whether to read too much into that yet, but this is what I've been told. Hopefully its true.

will believe it when its released
still waiting for victory to get a coach..

So bitter. Go sign some players

lol we are signing 3

Rather have Cernak,Rojas and Solorzano in the book tbh

cernak had a poor ACL tournament, i remember him missing an open goal from about 2metres out with no keeper, and after watching highlights of the melbourne heart vs north qld fury match where heart won 1-0, cernak had a very good opportunity 1 on 1 with bolton and completely scuffed his shot so im starting to think that apart from his pace and moments of good play he can be a bit of a dud when it comes to big games

rojas will be a very good player, not doubting that signing, but again depends how the new coach will use him

solorzano is a good striker however as ange said its the brisbane team and the style of play that made him look as good as he was so i don't think he will have as big of an impact at victory because they play a very boring brand of football straight down the middle but i guess time will tell. As i noticed with barbarouses, when he plays with brisbane he is one of the best players on the ground, but watching him the other night playing for new zealand against australia, he was unsighted at times

all good to buy all these players but at the end of the day victory doesnt have a coach and when they do finally get one, this coach now has to come in and sort out the players and basically change the whole squads system of playing and the mentality to the way he wants to play which will take some time to get used to and may not suit certain players

[/quote
u do realise this is the hal ere talking about heartfan10 , no aleague teams can buy players from other aleague clubs! cernak had a bad acl tournament? why cos he didnt score ?

Yeah cause Bernie Mandich would say if Harry was not considering Melbourne..... oh wait  Tardchie to stay on as marquee and an underwhelming signing like Madasachi to Victory.

well we have signed dugandzic who was your clubs most promising young player and has a lot of potential, as well as signing AIS captain curtis good who is only 17 years old

and our CEO made a statement yesterday to the fans on melbourne heart website stating that there are 2 players the club is closing in on at the moment

with the players that have left the squad it has meant we have freed up a cost of over 1.5 million dollars and we are looking to sign 3 international players (striker, attacking mid, central defender) so im guessing that money will be well spent and we will be able to sign some quality
