So Wally's first game in charge is against his old club. Should be good.

Doesn't sound like an upgrade to me. But to be honest, Rockdale just doesn't have the players to compete with the Top 6 teams this year on a consistent basis.

Severino has a long association with Peter Tsekenis from his Bankstown days. Severino was introduced to Tsekenis by Nick Carle while looking for an attacking left footed player. Good signing Champ.

I was only at the match for 5 minutes b4 HT till 20 minutes into the second. A very even encounter for the limited time I saw. However, fantastic way to bounce back from our disappointing loss in the Cup to go 7 points ahead of 2nd place.

Good win that puts us into 2nd and a chance to cut Olympic's lead to 4 if we win our game in hand.

Had a terrible year with Olympic a few yesrs back finished second last for us and nearly got us relegated we only avoided relegation with 5 games to go when we signed Nick Carle / Peter Zorbas and Nathan Arrante
I think he has done really well when he coached St George for a few years in the Super League of memory not 100 per cent sure
Good Luck for the rest of the season Nice guy but not sure if he is discplined enought for the team
Hope he does well as i like the bloke

We really didnt deserve the 3 points but considering how many times we've dropped points with late equalisers and that kinda rubbish, I'll take it.
A couple of nice finishes from Elsid and Glavas (not Vidaic) followed by a great penalty save by Vedran right at the death.

For anyone wondering about Club Championship and relegation, here's the table as of last Monday. Bankstown can have their U20's and U18's to thank for being down there while Parramatta's 20's are carrying them.
