A direct benefit of HGH.
I tend to disagree. I think Aus has players much quicker over a short distance. The difference is the ball doesn't stick to their feet like it does with him. Yeah but that's 'cos of his inculcation in 433. Edited by judy free: 22/6/2011 08:19:15 AM

Ah bugger it Judy, I'll bite.
I note your hatred of Messi's "unfair advantage" over his comrades - the treatment he received for a growth defect while he was at Barca. While it raises interesting questions regarding the use of hormone treatments in the sporting world and what truly defines a disability, after watching the guy in the flesh I fail to see how HGH caused his speed of mind or close control; arguably his two greatest strengths.
Now if the guy had the speed of Usain Bolt, the strength of Mike Tyson or the height of Yao Ming, I'd be inclined to agree with you. But he doesn't - and as such I'm going to say he gets precious little advantage out of it; certainly not enough to make him 'unfairly' better than Princess Ronaldo.

Must be getting bulk discounts on HGH. In one post on another forum you asked if I wanted a bunch of midgets facing tall full backs. After what barca did to man u. “My answer is being yes. Easy question” So much for strong tall and fast.](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) You miss the point. The qualities that give Messi a competitive edge was conceived in a laboratory.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/moslive/article-1265747/Inside-FC-Barcelonas-football-academy-churning-future-Messis--free.html'This is very important for your article,' says Capellas as I leave. 'You need to mention this,' he adds with a demonstrative flourish. 'Our Catalan castles always have a strong base. You need to have everyone in the right position, and you can't get someone to the top of the castle without the correct foundations. But you must always have a strong base because without that you have nothing.'

Is Brisbane Roar considered by forum members to be playing a style of game like Barcelona?

Edited by krones3: 15/6/2011 09:35:48 PM I can't think of an amateur team, but the Australian under 23 team which lost to Japan were closer than anyone I can think of. They were rotating the midfield triangle from a two screener triangle to a one screener triangle. Barca did this in the ECL final.
