The coloured shirt program is a great program. I have noticed, whilst watching games that referees with the shirt on don't get as much from the players and spectators as referees without the shirt. Good Idea, great for young referees.

Football West in conjunction with the Department of Sport and Recreation (DSR) is participating in the Coloured Shirt Program during the 2007 season.

This should be mandatory in the ACL too. I could swear one of the 'assistant referees' in the Chunnam game looked younger than me.
