you can't support you argument when you've signed rojas who is only 5 foot 5...yes he's a skillful player but there are many other skillful players in melbourne that you have overlooked (as victory always tend to do)

The reason youth cant get a game in a blue shirt is that our players are techincally stronger. While at the Heart they can walk straight in and get a first XI spot (Behich,Zahra)

i just find it weird how victory were the first team in melbourne to set up their youth team and had the first choice out of all the young players, and they have SHIT players coming out of their youth who can't even manage to break into a regular first team spot where as heart are going to be the second team in melbourne to set up their youth team and already have a better quality of youth players than victory who has been around much longer


the so called 'better' players that are keeping them off the bench are hacks like sukha, and the pensioners like kemp, pondlejack, allsopp, vargas and even thompson and brebner. Time for A LOT of these boys to move on...

They've had a number of young keepers training and trialling for the youth team, and for the back up spot to Bolton. They will sign up the best ones they can find, whoever they are.

Mattei train with zois at roy hunters academy. Obviousely Zois sees something in him as when it comes down to keepers it is zois who gives the reccomendations. from what I've seen of Mattei hes a servicable keeper but would be nowhere near a first choice keeper. If he does sign for heart I will piss myself laughing though.

ill admit he has his games where he'll save anything but he has got to be the most inconsistent keeper in the league, the only thing he is consistent in is making several appearances in the bloopers video at the end of the season

perth doesn't have the best defense in the league but victory's isnt too great either now especially now that muscat is gone, i would've concentrated your signings on developing a solid defense IMO
