Word going around is that we've written to the SPL/SFA regarding the Titles and Cups Rangers have won during their Tax Evasion.

I can't see it happening, and I don't reckon the board think it'll happen either. They're just sticking the boot in

So after the scum fucked it up last night against Killie, once again, it is now entirely possible to win the title at ibrox. Assuming we win tonight, we're 17 points ahead. There's then 3 matches each before the trip to ibrox. If we win all 3, and Rangers lose 1, and win the other 2, The gap will be 20 points when we go to ibrox. A win there would make it 23 points, and with 7 games left, the title would be won.
Is that not just the greatest thing?

Would cap it off.
I still remember sitting here a few months back after the start Celtic had, not really worried, the SPL can change in a few games. Although Rangers have helped

Although winning by less than 10 would be a right kick in the teeth for them as well. Not sure which is better:lol:

CelticFC.Net wrote:Five-star Celts go 17 points clear
HIBERNIAN…0 CELTIC…5 (Stokes 14, Hooper 20, 52 Mulgrew 47, Ki 77) CELTIC surged 17 points clear at the SPL summit and extended their domestic winning streak to 18 games after a ruthless 5-0 demolition of Hibernian at Easter Road Anthony Stokes was the scourge of his former employers once again in the opening 45 minutes, scoring the opener and setting up Gary Hooper as the visitors enjoyed complete dominance. There was no let-up after the interval as a rampant Celtic added two more goals in the space of five minutes to seal the points, with Charlie Mulgrew fizzing home a trademark free-kick and Hooper bagging his brace. In the closing stages, Ki compounded the home side’s misery as he diverted Kris Commons’ effort past Stack. There were two changes to team which had beaten Inverness Caley Thistle last weekend with Stokes replacing Georgios Samaras in attack and Thomas Rogne returning to the rearguard after recovering from his calf injury. And inside the first 20 seconds, the Hoops could have enjoyed a dream start. Stokes was afforded acres of spaces on the left and his low cross was turned towards goal by Hooper, but Graham Stack’s outstretched boot diverted the shot over. However, Celtic didn’t have long to wait to make the breakthrough, and there shouldn’t have been any surprise at the identity of the scorer as Stokes kept up his remarkable record of scoring on every appearance at his former hunting ground as a Bhoy. After Mulgrew’s free-kick had been headed behind, the defender launched the resulting corner into the mix and Stokes rose highest among a clutch of players to guide the cross into the net. In the 20th minute, the visitors doubled their advantage. This time Stokes was the supplier, cutting inside and picking out Hooper in the box, who clinically dispatched his shot into the far corner, sending an already jubilant away support into raptures. Celtic were bossing proceedings but some slack defending by Adam Matthews presented Lewis Stevenson with a sight of goal, though he fired straight at Fraser Forster. Excluding that effort, the Celtic shot-stopper’s only real involvement in the opening half was clearing away balloons and streamers which had blown on to the field from the stand housing the Hoops support. David Wotherspoon and Isaiah Osbourne both briefly threatened for the hosts, before Stokes saw claims for a penalty waved away. However, the clearest opportunities were being fashioned by Neil Lennon’s men, who were playing with a ruthless intent. First, Joe Ledley drove at the heart of the Hibs defence and sent a rasping effort narrowly over, and then Scott Brown, another midfielder in prolific scoring form, tested Stack with a curling shot from the edge of the area. Hibs boss, Pat Fenlon, made a switch at the interval in a bid to stem the tide, sending on George Francomb for David Doherty - but just two minutes after the restart the Hoops extended their lead. Hooper was felled at the edge of the area and Mulgrew swept the resulting free-kick over the wall beyond Stack to the delight of the away support. And only the heroics of the Hibs keeper prevented Stokes from finding the net in Celtic’s next attack after Hooper has teed him up in the area. Minutes later, however, a rampant Celtic added their fourth of their afternoon. James Forrest found Hooper on the left of the box and the striker casually rifled the ball into the corner from an acute angle. With the points secure, the Englishman was replaced by Kris Commons just past the hour mark, with Ki also entering the fray for Victor Wanyama. While the hosts gamely continued to persevere for a consolation goal, the Hoops were not in forgiving mood as both Celtic substitutes combined for number five. Another sweeping move gave Commons the chance to shoot. Although, his low effort appeared to be heading wide, Ki was on hand to divert it into the net. And it could have been even worse for the Easter Road side as Ledley headed Ki’s corner off the underside of the bar. The final whistle eventually brought some respite for the capital side as a euphoric Celtic support celebrated a resounding victory. CELTIC (4-4-2) Forster; Matthews, Rogne (Izaguirre 71), K. Wilson, Mulgrew; Forrest, Brown, Wanyama (Ki 55) Ledley; Hooper (Commons 61) Stokes Not Used: Zaluska, Samaras, Majstorovic, Brozek HIBERNIAN (4-4-2) Stack; Doherty (Francomb 46), McPake, Hanlon, Kujabi; Wotherspoon, Osbourne, Claros, Stevenson; Griffiths ( O’Donovan 73), Doyle (O' Connor 51) Not Used: Brown, O’Hanlon, Scott, Sproule Website Man of the Match: Joe Ledley

A 1 pound coin was thrown onto the pitch at Ibrox. Police are trying to determine whether it was a missile or a takeover bid.

Rangers have been ordered to put anything of any value up for sale to balance the books.
Good news for Rangers fans is that this means none of the players will be sold.

Rangers had a sixteen year head start...12 extra titles...that maths is pretty convincing for my money.

afromanGT wrote:Rangers had a sixteen year head start...12 extra titles...that maths is pretty convincing for my money. Rangers won their first title in 1891, 19 years after their formation. Celtic would win 4 before Ranger's got their 2nd, so that 16 year headstart doesn't really have much to do with it.

You are the kind of clueless person that i love so much.Your statement above tells me you know absolutely nothing about Scottish football. The league started in 1890/91, now how you get a SIXTEEN year head start is beyond me ! And your song says " And if you know your history ", you DON'T !!!

Rangers were a football organisation that was playing and coaching from the year 1872, were they not?
Celtic were a football organisation that was playing and coaching from the year 1888, were they not?
16 year difference is 16 year difference, whether titles were awarded or not.
