16 year difference is 16 year difference, whether titles were awarded or not. Celtic obtained/ poached all their players from Hibs who were formed in 1875 if that helps even it up a wee bit . Do you seriously think that the 16 years made a difference ? Remember, the guys who played in the first 10-15 years would have been finished way before the league commenced. Pretty lame excuse mate. Perth Glory were formed 8 years before Sydney FC and have won feck all when in same league, does not add up.

Yeah, but I'm not trying to argue that Perth Glory are better than Sydney.

So all we need is a rangers draw in one of their next 3. Then we win our next match. Would mean a gap of 19 points at Ibrox, where a win for us would clinch the title.
Assuming Rangers can afford to hire the police for it.

The thing that I love is that Funky was calling for Lennon's head in October.

Losing to Rangers. Losing to Sion. Being 3-0 down at half time against Kilmarnock. Being 15 points behind only 2 months into the season. He clearly didn't have the squad playing well, or motivated at all.

I was blaming our defense and keeper more then I ever did Lenny. What I did blame on Lennon at the time was not buying an experienced keeper as he seemed he only had one real target - Forster. While I liked Forster, I for one wanted to see a much more experienced keeper as I felt Forster cost us too many points last season. But give the kid (and Lenny) credit, he has come good this season and has won us points on his own on a few occasions. He still looks awkward as **** though when making saves  Now with how things have turned out, do I still wished we had signed an experienced keeper? I will have to say yes, unless we mange to sign Forster permanently. If that happens I will be well chuffed.

Nor does questioning the manager equate to supporting Celtic any less than I normally do. I'm not sure what point you were trying to make, other than your usual pathetic attempts at causing fights. Do carry on.

Felix Baumgartner's freefall has broken the previous world record, overtaking Rangers' descent to the fourth tier of Scottish football.

125 years ago today a club was formed for the maintenance of dinner tables for the children and the unemployed. Brother Walfrid created a club that has given me so much joy and I thank him for that.
HAIL! HAIL! To the greatest football club in the world.

BusbyBabe wrote:What I would give to be there tomorrow for the Barca match. Heard about the display Green Brigade have been planning? Quote:On the 7th of November, 125 years and one day from Celtic’s founding meeting in St Mary’s in the Calton, we take on Barcelona in the Champions League.
With brilliant financial backing from the Celtic support, we have organised a fantastic full-stadium display to mark the occasion and celebrate our incredible history and we need EVERY fan to play their part in making it a success. For that to happen, we need everyone to make a big effort to get in early and to follow these instructions.
Do NOT raise the material at your seat during You’ll Never Walk Alone. Instead, wait for the cue from the Green Brigade corner at section 111 to do so before the teams come out. With your continued support we can, 125 years on from the founding of our club, continue to show the world just what the great Celtic support can do.

Should be an amazing night for everyone there. Imagine if they pulled out a result. Blew their chance at though with that late goal in the away leg.

Great game and will be vital in Celtic trying to get out of the group.
but I had a multi with there to be over 10.5 corners in the game, there was 9 and there was one shot from Messi Forster tapped over and they called a goalkick and at the start the ball was going out for a Barca corner and Iniesta slid to put it out for a throw. I put $5 on the multi and it would have paid $845

I hate Barca fans.
"Celtic just parked the bus, such boring poor football".
"Barca still the better team. Play way more attractive football, better to watch".
"Boring english football by Celtic, they didnt attack, they dont deserve to win".
"You cant win them all, it happens. Its football".
Dont get all philosophical and gracious on me. You rub it in my face every week about how silky smooth they are and how Messi is the greatest thing to wal this earth. how Xavi and iniesta make you jizz every week and about how amazingly amazing Barca are, now you want to be all philosophical and shit.

Zim, we get it. You hate Barca. The constant moaning is getting tiresome.
Brilliant result for Celtic. 4 points from their remaining 2 games should be more than enough. Nice finish from Watt, what a moment for him. Shocking from Xavi though
Forster has been immense in the UCL. I can see him getting poached by an EPL team. I can see a few Celtic players being sold tbh.

I wrote two posts. I dont think its constant moaning. What is also tiresome is the constant posts about how amazingly jizzful Barca are and th arguments over Messi and Ronaldo. I was merely expressing my viewpoit. I dont hate Barca that much, i hate what theyve become and in turn its brought about a hate for them and their fans. Edited by zimbos_05: 8/11/2012 12:48:00 PM
