Hello Forumites....

Just raising awareness of my daughters football club "Hurlstone Park Wanderers" in there campaign with the Canterbury Council to improve the facilities, better drainage @ Ewen Park as well new 1/2 sized fields, better off street parking etc..........as well as improving other grounds within the Canterbury council..

The "Space to Play" campaign launch will be held down @ Ewen Park this Saturday morning @ 1030am (Latte truck and BBQ on site).

I would be greatly appreciated if my fellow forumites could spend a minute and sign the petition on the link below.

Hey ZB, good to hear from you. I know Hurlstone Park Wanderers well, my son played his first ever season at U6s there more than 10 years ago. In fact, I believe he still holds the record for being youngest ever player registered. He was just short of being 4 y/o, and all he wanted to do was play soccer like his dad... But he wouldn't go on the field without me! So I had to become asst coach and be on the field half the game so that he'd play! He had a great time too... Plays U16 now... not at HPW, we moved to a different area after that season.
