holman and kristensen give you plenty of goals from midfield and D'agostino looks like he can step up to maclaren's shoes. Oar creates a bit and scores a few

our defence is ok. Kristensen Devere and Papa are pretty solid as in corey brown (to my surprise). Hingert still seems a little bit of a weak link defensively. Calletti is pretty weak defensively but should improve whereas mckay is getting worse in my opinion


In my opinion if we get a top RW, RB and Goal keeper we will be pretty strong

Local media is talking up a Roar signing announcement on Friday arvo, apparently they're being lined up for interviews with "a new player". Sounds a bit much for a re-signing like Avraam or Caletti and too soon for an import .... so maybe a signing from within the HAL?

Well we know there are a lot of players off contract.
We need a whole new front four to go with Oar,Holman and Agostino.
Surely not Holosko.Based on playing styles,a player from AU or WSW would probably fit in easily.
Maybe Cirio or Currusca would be the creative type pf player we need..
Austin would fit the long ball and pace template.

Possibly the bearded one and its to early for Santa.

Holosko'a already gone back to Europe so probably not him. Kalfhalla perhaps?

Apparently the signings going ahead as planned, tomorrow morning or early arvo. Club saying they're in negotiation with a No. 9 and another Foreign player plus this one (who's coming from within the A league) - the idea is to have the squad for next season assembled in time for when they return for pre-season training. That's just sooooooooo un-Roar like lol

There's a bit of debate as to whether Borrellos move is on or off but assuming he hasn't left yet ... and assuming Avraam has re-signed .... then the focus has got to be on a No 9 and a right/left winger, ideally one that can create chances for a striker as well as bag some goals himself.

It ain't a marquee signing and it's likely a winger of which there's a handful at best on the market. I would have fancied Fierira but he's under contract overseas until October so he's out.

I'd be pretty confident in saying Borrello is leaving. And I do think Papa will re-sign. So an attacking player is a pretty good bet, you are right.

I'm really stumped as to who it is. I've got a feeling it might be Mitch Austin as we were rumoured to be looking at him. He's a cheap back up to Oar and his style suits the way Aloisi seems to want to play. Plus we know exactly what we're gonna get so it wouldn't be a risky signing per se

When Roar said they were going to fill their quota of visa players next year I was a bit concerned as 4 new overseas signings sounds great but how often do you hear "it takes them a year to adjust to the HAL" and we can't afford 3-4 players in that boat so I hope at least one of them comes from within the HAL. Austin could be a good signing, inexperienced maybe and still developing - lacks the skill of Borrello but has pace to compensate. Fierira and Khalfalla are two others that fit the bill

Good chance it might be Robbie Kruse. Either Brisbane or Victory surely?

I thought Kruse had said he was going to Europe and Troisi wanted marquee wages? Doubt it's either of those (not a fan of Kruse at the moment mind you, and Roar need to stop signing players out of form/fitness and wasting a year getting them back on track).

Lol you know my dislike of him well. We already have one donkey in Holman taking shots from range who has more goals.
