Never bought season ticks in my life as always had VIP/corporate boxes or stadium membership tickets given to me. This year might be different. Is it worth it and what advantage is there in the seating?

Good man :) the players have earned our support. What block did u get?

Same block 301, row 13. Two seats over to the right of where i was before. It seems most of the 4k memberships we have at the moment, must be coming from the Platinum area (340,301,302.303) as there was hardly any left.

We are the rich a holes that don't really care and just want to make a one of purchase of tickets because ticketek are bastards. Consider also the extra 4 dollars or so for processing fees you are saving that you whacked with every ticket. Plus i like the people i sit with, ive got a BSHS coach that knows all the youth players then i got my mate whos a ref that i turn to when a shit call was made. then i got the loud group of blokes who give me a running commentary of the game. Add to my overall match day experiences.

You save a bit of cash as well.

Mine cost $410 for Platinum, An adult Platnium ticket costs $44.86 so times that by 13 = $572,
So i am saving $162.

I forgot that they charge an extra $5.25 on top of the ticket as well, so thats another $68.25 and that brings the total saving of $230.25.

Also come finals time, you get to keep your seats.

Yeah probably should have said that. I say always get membership if you planning going to every single game or close to. It handy for finals to get first choice of tickets, especially when you got away to WS or MV.

Join the Brisbane Roar players on Sunday in an historic first-ever full club photograph on the pitch at Suncorp Stadium.

At the conclusion of our match against Central Coast Mariners (4pm kick off), members and fans will be permitted to enter the field to join our Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League and Foxtel Youth League players along with children in club colours representing football clubs across Brisbane.

To show our unity, strength and renewed engagement, a photograph will be taken from high in the stands to record the historic moment the entire Brisbane Roar FC "family" came together.

This is the first time members and fans have been permitted post-game access to the Suncorp Stadium playing surface.

In the interest of safety, we urge those who want to be involved to be patient and follow the direction of stadium ushers and ground announcements at the conclusion of the Hyundai A-League match.

It's going to be special moment in the club's history so be there on Sunday to ensure you are part of our first Brisbane Roar FC full club photograph.

MATCH DAY DETAILS

Gates open: 12.45pm

Are any of you guys concerned about Aloisi's extra media commitments with Fox Sports?

Which ones? (I don't watch Fox bar game days)

Didn't think he'd still be contracted to them?

I think maybe hes talking about him being on the Panel for the last Socceroos game on fox, which would make sense since he was a legend in the Socceroos. Not sure of any other commitments with Fox Sports,

I was thinking about the exact same thing, and TBH, not sure I agree with it.

Within 15 mins of the Roar game he was over talking with the panel. Then a couple of hours later he was on the socceroos panel up until the early hours of the next morning.

I would much rather him be more focused on what the Roar just achieved rather then analyzing another team.

I'm not sure if they would have brought Aloisi to the post match panel if he had lost the game, The Socceroos panel im ok with if its just a one off but like you said he really has enough on his plate and should focus on the club.

The "panel" was pitchside and literally on the way around the ground as the boys did the team walk.
As Ange says, as a coach you have 4 relationships you need to succeed in building and maintaining.

1. Players
2. Club/Board
3. Fans
4. Media

He is doing a fantastic job with 3 and 4. Seems on top of 2 and the players sound like they are behind him. He has actually improved drastically in all these areas since his Heart days imo, and credits working at Fox wth helping him understand why it is important to be open with the media (where do you think the fans get most of their info from?).

Im fine with that repeating if it gives the club exposure and its basically the same interview he would be doing in the headset anyway. Doesnt need to warm the boys slugs up after they jump out of the ice bath.

Sure building a relationship with the media is great, but I think him being on the socceroos panel that night was taking that to he extreme

Wasn't ange doing it when he was at MV. I don't mind it as long as he doesn't do it to often. He was down in sydney, pretty much everyone would be staying up watching the game anyway. Makes no difference that he was in his hotel room than at the fox studios.

Absolutely. You can't tell me his thoughts will not be diverted or maximum attention to the team will be afforded. I would have thought time with the team just before and after a game is important eg debriefing. As a player imagine what their thoughts would be, "oh, he's off doing something else". Nice.

The post-game interview of the coach and a player from each team is required as part of the broadcast agreement with Fox. He will be doing the interview and presser regardlass of results after every single game. Just like every other coach. It just happened that the Fox boys were set up pitchside rather than in a media box. Relax.

Id say he is still contractually required to. He broke his Fox contract to come back to coaching and remember Adam Peacock mentioning something about them 'ironing the details out' before Roar could release him.

Are any of you guys concerned about Aloisi's extra media commitments with Fox Sports?

Relax.

But before the game? And afterwards straight to the studios on totally unrelated matters? Yes, post match interview is a requirement and fine but the rest is too much me thinks.

Ross did the before game and half time spots from memory.
Socceroos was 4 hours later (hardly immediate).
Boys would have warmed down, had a quick chat then been on their way back to the hotel/airport.
Proper game relfections and analysis would have happened after the coaching staff rewatched the tape and had a film session with the team.
What do you expect him to do? Sit them around for a 2 hour post-game meeting? The Socceroos suddenly have a regular weekly fixture we need to worry about? Its not like he took off to Jordan for 4 days.

Show that he is totally committed to the team and his job at the club. He obviously hasn't improved in sports psychology.
