This is a copy of the 8 Coerver drills in the last 442 magazine. Unfortunately it is slow to download on my computer and will probably be the same on others.

We've used Drill Six with considerable success.

We nominated a dribbling technique the players should do before we a started each game.

The player had to do either a nominated body swerve, Maththews, Cut, Brazilian step over, and finally any dribbling technique which wrong foots an opponent.
After doing one once, they had to dribble through a goal marked by cones to score.

I would blow the whistle and the players would stop, but they would have to keep keep performing stationary dribbling techniques whilst looking at yours truly and tell the rest of the group how many cones they dribbled through.

This was good for fitness as well as dribbling technique.

A coaching point from Everton Academy, was to look up every third touch in between performing a specified dribbling technique.

Drill Four looks okay.

Any more than four players per station and I would be looking to try and incorporate players doing some stationary dribbling.

Drill Five looks okay too.

Nevertheless, I would incorporate some stationary dribbling as players waited in line.
