Connected my PS3 for the first time in ages. Went through the system update then the FIFA update just for 2 games. Beat some guy as Chelsea 2-1, then lost to a guy using Spartak Moscow 2-0. First time playing FIFA at all for months.

What I've found is that it takes time to get use to some strikers. Once you know what his strengths and weaknesses are, you will know how to use him.

UT isn't even good

its only good if you really get into it when you can make cool teams especially with IF, you also have to like online play

I was put off at first. But once you understand everything it's pretty fun.

Playing as Oxford United, getting them from Npower 2 to EPL. Currently in Championship. Signed El Shaarwary on loan this season, and my team consists of PACE. All 4 backs are above 80 pace, El S. is 83 pace, then my front three (I play 4-3-3) are all above 85 pace. I attack on the break obviously :lol:

I've got a question on manager mode, how well do you use your scouts? I know I sign any lad who's potential is above 80. Always chuck them in when people get injured, or even better, farm them out.

I did the same thing with Wimbledon. I haven't used the scouting system for a long time. But I used it when I was with Brisbane Roar at the start of fifa. I managed to get some of the best players in the game. Barca ended up paying 60+ million for one of my players. Sign up the guys with good potential and who have at the current time are higher than 50. Just play them regularly bring them off the bench every game and if you can't send him out on loan to a team where he will get plenty of game time.

So as soon as they're 16 or what the age is give em a contract and play them off the bench or loan them out?

Your meant to keep them in the youth academy as long as you can.

Oh wow. So I've been doing it wrong the whole time. Whatever current skill, but potential higher than 80, I sign up straight away and either send them on loan, or play them every 3 or 4 games or so...

And another question, because all you guys seem quite good at FUT unlike me. I've got 25k to spend on a new team, and I'm not the best in picking a team. My last Belgium squad was pretty poor. So can anyone help me make a Gold team for that much? And preferably, I love pace as well as some players 4* skill... Cheers.

Nope. You can sign them to your first team after the age of 16, but they're untouchable in the youth academy.

Russian League team maybe? With Doumbia, Welliton, Danny, Roberto Carlos etc

As the other guy said, Russian League is the best way to go if your looking for cheap pace abusers, as well as some skill.

You could also look to buy a Ligue 1 squad they are pretty cheap these days. Remy is about 2k, and you can pick up Menez (5* skill) for about the same.

Decided to dump my other teams, were not that great.

Making a gold BPL team in the 4-3-1-2 formation, but I can't decide on two the strikers. On about a 150k/160k budget, any advice?

That team cost me 12,900 and is amazing team to play with. Skill wise it's as good as it get's: Doumbia and Welliton 4 starts, Danny, McGeady and Bousouffa 5 stars! Very fun team to play with.

Problem with Russian league teams are the defenders. Very slow, and not very strong. Also have poor stats.

Yes got 4-1-2-1-2 Taiwo QPR version for 2k! Can sell for a 4k profit, shame he wasn't the Milan one.
