Fantastic - I didn't spot the date. Bowden must have been having a slow day cruising for ANY mention of Malta. It's how I spend my life 8-[

Then, because of the lack of submissions, that format was canned and rumours were to be a 'straight-to-VHS' feature. Though I'm surprised there's been even less rumours since  I like this one: Quote:Culina the Marquee [RUMOUR]
By 442 Scoop Oct 18 2008 17:55 Get more on: Jason | Culina | Gold | Coast Jason Culina has been secured as the Marquee player for Gold Coast United for their the 2009/10 season. The Socceroo midfielder and his wife are reportedly seeking a change in lifestyle and GC United will be his home as of next season. FourFourTwo Belief Factor: 2/10 - We'll let the PSV midfielder answer this one himself: "It's only a little bit of gossip," he said with a laugh this week. "I wouldn't look too much into it at the moment".

Not really. Bear in mind the forums/site has grown significantly since then. Trolls weren't an issue back then.

The alias of the person who submitted the rumour. There was an online form you filled out along with the rumour, didn't have to log in to FFT to submit.

In saying that, Bogdanovic would be the next Paul Ifill if he were to come here. Would love to see it.
Get Mifsud here already!!! Signed a 5 year contract at home. He ain't going anywhere. Easy life goal-a-game in Malta, happy wife, walk into any coaching job he wants when he retires. Too easy. Yeah fair enough on his part I guess, but it's just a shame what could have been. He dead set could have played EPL if he wasn't so greedy. He's World Class, it's a shame to see him taking the easy option. Nah, he was a good Championship level player but would have struggled at Premiership level. I think he would have done a good job here if he had come when he had the chance, but he wanted the right deal and no-one here would give it to him. He got it at home. Good luck to him.

Forgive my ignorance... But other than Bogdanovic, how many Maltese internationals are playing in England?
And for the record, neither of my friends in the Maltese national team ( ;) ) have said anything about team-mates wanting to play in Australia.
