as far as the names you mentioned signed in the A-League they are majority youth deals, and at best fringe players, there are shit loads of decent players in the NSWPL who are overlooked, and if any of you have a thread of credibilty you would know the nepotism thats involved......
have agreat day everyone :)
Your claim about the lack of players signed by A-League clubs is unfounded. Obviously the majority of players will not get picked up for a variety of reasons. Hardly surprising, happens all over the world. When you look at the likes of Nikas and Gan who tore up the NSWPL and struggled to make an impact in the A-League it's not surprising that A-League clubs are often weary of signing players from the State League or giving them a proper chance. It's not all a conspiracy theory... and if you believe your son is good enough and it's all about "who you know" then send him to United. I'm sure JP will be delighted to pick him up.

That's not what I said at all... You've missed my point completely. I said that both players were standouts in the NSWPL and had quite dominant seasons before getting picked up by A-League clubs. Both had minimal impacts...

I don't think anyone said you'll only be seen while playing for the bigger clubs...
From my perspective, some clubs are better due to the links they have

Can any Olympic fans comment on what's happening at Belmore?
Yes I know you guys have a 25 year lease, but a mate of mine who play State Cup for the Bulldogs was told that under no circumstances would soccer be played there this season. This same w@nker coach said that all the games for Doggies juniors and state cup would occupy the ground every weekend during winter leaving no room for soccer.
Now I don't want to be attacked by the Olympic fans as I am simply passing on information.

I would highly doubt, and find it laughable that a youth coach of the Bulldogs knows the inner workings of the lease agreement Belmore Sports Ground is owned by Canterbury City Council and the Bulldogs and Olympic are joint lease holders. The re-development of Peter Moore field will have several new training pitches and on 1 of those pitches the matches of the youth teams of the Bulldogs and Olympic will play there matches. Belmore Sports Ground will be for Sydney Olympic's NSWPL team and Canterbury's NSW Cup side Also Belmore Sports Ground has a new drainage system and will have full time groundsmen looking after the pitch

I am sure he did not sign for peanuts, and would still be handsomely rewarded at United. He is not playing for charity and would still be one of the highest earners in the NSWPL. Personally I would have taken the cash, if it really was 1800 bucks. The guy is in his mid-20s and unlikley to make a professional career out of the game so why not take the money?!
