There was something at the world game site saying he'd be moving to a "commonwealth" club, but that was all they could say... I'd find the link but I cant be buggered.

Blackburns current left lack (Warnock) was really good last season. Mark Hughes thought he should of been in the ENgland squad. I dont see this happening and if it does he might not get first team football. Thats not good for the national team

I'm a rover fan and I hope this doesn't happen. Firstly - Warnock and Gamst - Our left is perfect - most of the creative balls came down that flank. We need a right wing if Bentley goes, so lets save our cash for that. Plus I hear Benni was talking to other clubs so we might need a striker too.

he's good enough to play first team football but i'm not sure they'll give him the chance against team mates like gamst and warnock like teasa said so maybe another club would suit him better. but if he did make his way into the first team on the other hand, it'd be a great move.

If Leeds had made the championship it would've been a good move for Carney, especially since Leeds like to play their football on the ground. Im not surprised he's found it tough under Blackwell. Being a former Leeds boss we know how he is. He couldn't see talent if it him in the head. He would be served getting out of them. Rumours suggest he will thankfully.

I am a big admirer of Carney's determination as a player on the field. I think this is what will get him noticed. I think he has the character to rise to the occasion if this were true.

We(blackburn) are already solid on both wings with Warnock and Gamst on the left and Emo and Bentley on the right. Even if Bents leaves, Carney isn't the man to replace him.
However, I am a big Carney fan and I hope that he stays with Sheffield for a while, as he has a big future, and I would like to see him hone his skills there.

Why would Kilkenny go down to while he was at Birmingham? And Valeri at Inter? But I get your point. Sheffield are better than most of teams in the Championship and should have gone up. Anyone would pick United over Hull or Stoke. Carney probably wouldn't go to Blackburn. Any other Premiership side below the top 8 would be smarter. Hahahaha:lol: Man City might be an option.

cant see it happening with the options that blackburn have, plus with the incresing storys about mark hughes going to chelsea he wont be signing anyone till that little situation is over,

This would be good for the Socceroo's as Emo and Carney will be playing together for club and national. A lot of aussies have been linked together more recently Bresciano to Fulham and Kewell to Celtic

Emerton plays down the right flank for the Socceroos, yet he tends to play centrally for Blackburn I think. So they'd really only be teaming up at club level.
