You should go on a road trip with your girlfriend for a few days. Camping, cooking on a fire, all that shit. She'll love it

This is the kind of girl who sits and works out exactly how many hours they've been together, isn't it?

Catbert, I wouldn't worry too much about things not being the same as they were. You have to remember that you're both maturing as individuals as well as a couple. As long as you're always open about how you're feeling and you stay on the same page you'll be fine.

I've just emerged from something similar with my GF. just be open, take some time to yourself if you need it... Don't let the negative thoughts consume you and watch a lot of football!

Catbert: Taker her on a long bike ride, and then have a picnic, or something cute like that. Girls love that shit and it can always re-ignite the passion in a relationship. Or try anal.
It's good to be back.

Tell me honestly, does females being stupid + being a dick actually get you girls? Im a withdrawn but nice guy, yet the guys that all girls want are absolute cocks. Id love to physically knock some respect into them.

I think you will find it is the projected self confidence coupled with the inherent lack of confidence.

I am finding myself in a weird situation, separated but not divorced and have 3 kids. Peoples opinions on the reaction of women towards this?

Their instincts tell them they have nothing to gain from being with a nice guy who they perceive as unable to protect them and provide for them. I read somewhere a long time ago, someone said that girls don't so much go for "assholes", they just go for strong people who stand their ground and have a confident aura about them. For example, they're probably not going to be impressed by a guy shouting at a waiter, but they will be impressed by someone who doesn't let other people push in front of them in a line or something. But even though when i am a nice guy, I end up friendzoned. or in the last instance, not friends with the girl anymore.

If you don't put yourself out there, how are chicks meant to know that you're interested? You can be nice to a girl and not end up friendzoned as long as you make it clear from the outset that you want to be more than friends. I was going to say "make it clear you plan on fucking her", but figured you were planning on saving yourself

A lot more variables than is ideal, but no reason why it would be a dealbreaker for the majority of women. I guess as long as you don't make a big deal out of it, they shouldn't either - especially if they're around the same age as you.

This so much. You don't have to stop being a nice guy, just be a bit more assertive, and let the girl know what you want. Confidence is sexy.

I hope that things can be worked out, especially for the kids, but we all know that staying togethetr for the wrong reasons hurt a family more. I have a few friends who have divorced now and have kids, mostly try and keep the kids out of the picture and shelter them from what's gonig on until you know that the person you're seeing is someone worth keeping around. The last thing kids need is a parent parading around a selection of people that they bond with and then disappear. As long as you're not looking for Mum mkII it should be fine, especially with many women in our age bracket having kids of their own.
