Somewhat, I was in the odd position of tossing up between her and another girl as I had feelings for both. Chose the other. Awkwardly enough it turns out they live about 7 houses apart.

Imagine that same struggle, PLUS a bunch of religious fuckwits judging you and whispering behind your back, or telling you that your feelings are sinful and that you are going to hell because your genetic code has pre-determined that you are sexually attracted to your own gender rather than males coupled with the knowledge that you do not have the same basic human rights as your straight counterparts, because those rights are yet to be voted on or passed down from Parliament.
