I seem to not be able to find any infomation on it. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the players recruited have to be from the State Institutes, also why has the age group of the players in the last couple of years has been 15-17, when a few years ago they seemed to be recruiting 18 year olds.

victory 12345678910, it's quite difficult to get any information regarding AIS or any of the NTC's at the best of times. What I can tell you though is; 95% of the new recruits into the AIS as January 2012 will most probably come from the state institutes. There does seem to a chance for players outside this umbrella but very limited.

The reason for the age group drop from 18 yr olds to 15 and 16 yr olds is that these days the players are being prepared for Joeys representation.

I have been trying to find out who receieved an AIS scholarship from the recent Institute Challenge, but that seems to be top secret information.
