mate if you cant understand why i wouldnt disclose what players are paid you're not as clever as I thought. you then ask for a ballpark figure. well someone with your knowledge in the game would be able to work that out for yourself.

as for the last comments:
- i said we had a squad good enough to play finals football with wally at the helm and i stand by it. nothings changed. not the ideal start but its still very much possible. we should of beaten sutho when we had a draw, we should of beaten blacktown when we went 3-2 up with 15 to go, and we dominated wolves with 9 men. with a bit of luck, we would of been in the 5 already! the fact that wally is gone is irrelevant. something had to give, unlucky or not and weve managed to get results since we made that decision.
- how have we sacked half our playing register? let me see, jagelman walked as hes not getting game time, and we let go of mitwali and kim. we had one of the largest squads to start off with. so out of that, 2 have been released both of whom im sure would like to try their hand elsewhere as opposed to playing in the 20's.
we have brought in one player who might not have even joined if our leading striker naidovski didnt do his knee.
- spending more money on players? given you cant even put a ball park figure on what mcallister is getting what makes you think you can make any comment about what amount were spending on players. for the record champ, im pretty sure our spend on players is lower than most clubs in the pl (parra, wolves and spartans aside).
- promote rudan to fix our problem? mate, whats the issue there? if a coach doesnt get results, he's punted, simple. wally deserved being given the team given he did well last year when he was appointed mid season. simple as that.

If i was you, Id focus more on your own backyard but please dont go throwing your 10 cents worth if your comments have no basis. you might end up taking the tag of ultimate keyboard warrior from our olympic ultras.

by the way, the only arguments ive had with any of the utd boys on here is inrelation to what i considered to be poor behaviour by them at our ground. simple as that. other than that, theres no issue. they support their team and know a lot about their club and i say good luck to them.

The figures thrown around Hayes were rumours... and that was his rumoured offer from Rockdale.

Very different to asking someone in the know to post the pay of a player on a public forum.

re hayes- as i said earlier, i dont recall saying what he was offered by us, it was the utd boys who did that. in any event, different issue there cause it was all rumours and never eventuated. not the same as disclosing what a signed player is on.

like all players who come to rockdale, we pay them with a free chevapi roll at the end of the game and a can of soft drink. match bonuses are in the form of an extra chevapi on their roll!

Because Bonnyrigg are slaying the comp. So in my opinion he should start there. If your going to scoop the best for a WS team then start at the top and work your way down. If Popovic is starting at the bottom and working his way up then by the time he gets to the top he will be trumped by Mariners and Sydney FC. Perhaps Popovic already knows what his options are already. Guess we will wait and see.

Fully agree there are some awesome talented players at City, A quick check of ALL NSWPL tables reveals City from U/14's to U/20's are currently 2nd on the table and 1st's are 3rd currently. So plenty of talent for years to come.

Fair enough.

I have watched enough BWE games to form a view. Only player who has Aleague marked all over him is Vrankovic. Mitch Long as a potential squaddie, but the balance are very very solid NSWPL players and nothing more.

At Demeons, I think Major, Jenner, Miyazawa and even perhaps Lewis would be worthy off a squaddie gig at West Sydney.

Kwabena definitely a future A-League player. Other than that, I have only seen Parra play once and I was somewaht impressed by youngsters Saito, Soane and O'Reilly. McInerney is solid, but not sure how old he is.

United a has a few youngsters too, like Tomic, Lum, Janjetovic and Stamelis who are deserved of a higher league.

I doubt Poppa will be wasting his time with players say 23 and over YET still playing in teh NSWPL. Hayes springs to mind, like Younis he is a gun NSWPL player but would struggle playing higher.

Just my opinion.

there are a few.....some have played professionally before and are still very young....however i would prefer to discuss via PM, because soon as you start naming player here the critisism will start and i dont think its fair on these young players ....plenty of them come in here for a look.....

I think I know which car you're talking about. I've seen it around before, but I Can't remember where. I get the feeling it's a fan rather than a player. I know there's a couple strong APIA and Sydney FC supporters.

The only player I could think of who'd have that sort of loyalty and passion for the club to have his numberplate personalized would be Terry McFlynn, but as far as I'm aware, he doesn't drive a BMW. He drives some fancy sports car.

I think it's just a fan, tho.

Kwabi is only signed for CCM NYL - was shocked that Arnie didn't give him a proper contract last season. Maybe he can get out of the NYL gig if WSW offers him a real employment opportunity?

Would add Gaitatzis (BWE) and Bevin (APIA) to the list for Poppa, plus Harry Brown and Dolor Edosomwan from Blacktown City's U20 for the NYL squad.
